My Home Hero tells the story of salaryman Tosu Tetsu, played by actor Sasaki Kuranosuke, who murders his daughter’s boyfriend to protect her. Playing opposite of Sasaki is STARTO’s very own Takahashi Kyohei, playing Majima Kyoichi who is a semi-gangster suspecting Tosu Tetsu of his nefarious deed. Fans of suspense dramas as well as morally grey characters should definitely check this series out once it starts airing!
Kyohei’s character will be particularly interesting because, as a member of a yakuza, Majima does horrible things while having a solid core and is a good guy at heart. The suspense of whether Tosu will be caught by Majima or not will keep viewers coming back week after week to see their battle on the screen.
My Home Hero starts airing on October 24th at 24:59 on MBS and at 25:28 on TBS.
