SixTONES’ Hokuto Matsumura joins NTV drama “アンサンブル” “Ensemble” as Yuu Matohara, starring Haruna Kawaguchi. The show will start in January.
The original script is a cheerful and slightly sad legal love story about a realist girl and a younger idealist boy who come to understand each other and grow closer through a trial for love troubles in the fashionable world. Haruna plays Sena Koyama, a popular lawyer who deals with many love troubles, and Hokuto plays Yuu Matohara, a positive, action-oriented new lawyer with a high self-esteem.

A new lawyer appears in front of Sena.
He found meaning in “a job where he can help people” and began to pursue a career as a lawyer after graduating from university. His family are all very close, including helping out at his parents’ neo izakaya with his sister.
He is bright, honest, receptive, has a high self-esteem and is a positive doer.
He is an idealist and believes too much in love and sincerity, which gets him into trouble in court, but often results in the best interests of his clients.

The character I play, Matohara, is a character who values love in the broadest sense of the word, and is also “idealistic”, and I think he is a character that many people aspire to be someone they can think like that. I myself had a bit of a longing for this character. First of all, I think that’s what makes the role so appealing that people want to watch it every week. Sena, played by Kawaguchi-san, is the opposite of me, but we don’t blame each other for being opposites, and we spend a lot of time together, which I think is the charm that both my role and Kawaguchi-san‘s role have.
