Get ready for the highly anticipated return of Naniwa kara Ae! Kaze Fukasemasu! โ€” the first-ever show with Naniwa Danshi and Ae! group together as co-leads, originally airing from November 2019 to March 2021. Back then, before both groups officially debuted, these two young groups pushed themselves to grow as the next-generation stars we see today.

In its early run, Ae! group swept through the country like a wind with their intense “Ae! Otoko Juku” segment, where they embraced the ethos of โ€œsweat,โ€ โ€œtears,โ€ and โ€œguts,โ€ showing their determination and energy. Ae! group’s Yoshinori Masakado spoke with pride, saying, “As Ae! group, having this beloved show come back during our debut year and being able to share it with everyone in Kansai makes me incredibly proud. The instant the opening video began, I was struck by the thought, ‘Look at everything we did, we really worked hard.‘”

Legendary episodes like the band trio climbing a mountain with their legs tied together, letting Seiya Suezawa loose in the kitchen, and watching the boys suffer from eating spicy food, just to name a few, still remain as vivid and precious memories for fans. These moments not only showcased their incredible teamwork and camaraderie but also highlighted their individual personalities and quirks, adding layers of entertainment and humor. Each of these unforgettable moments contributed to a rich tapestry of stories that fans continue to cherish and recount, deepening their connection to the group and the joyous chaos that surrounds their adventures.

Naniwa Danshi brought fun with their “Naniwa Ikemen Academy,” which emphasized their “refreshing,” “stylish,” and “sparkling” personas. Daigo Nishihata expressed his happiness, saying, “When I first heard from our manager about the special program, I was thrilled. With both groups now debuted, I was really hoping weโ€™d get a chance to bring this back someday. Now that itโ€™s happening, it feels like a perfect opportunity for people to see more of what makes us special.

Joichiro Fujiwara noted, “We were able to film naturally, and since it was a challenge-based segment, so we all put effort into showcasing our personalities. Back when it was a regular series, there was more of a tense atmosphere, but this time it was all fun! I figured if I just kept talking, some part of it would make it to the air, so I just talked and talked [laughs],” while Kyohei Takahashi reflected, “This show helped us grow through so many experiences when it was a regular series, so I was overjoyed to see it return after three years.

Shunsuke Michieda also chimed in with his excitement, “Weโ€™d been saying we wanted to do this again for so long, so it made me genuinely happy. The familiar atmosphere of the show made it super fun, and we could just be ourselves during the recording.

Now, after three and a half years, theyโ€™re back in action on November 29, rekindling that same spirit of friendly competition and excitement, this time dressed in nostalgic outfits!

Both groups have a special bond with each other, not only as close friends in private and as peers, but as fellow entertainers and artists who help each other grow and push each other to their limits.
