This morning we woke up to the incredible news that Takahisa Masuda will have his long-awaited first solo album “Kidoairaku” 「喜怒哀楽」 after an extensive musical career as a member of the group NEWS!
As well announced on the recently opened website for this release, the album will be out on February 2, 2025, and is composed of 8 songs including the title track “Kidoairaku“「喜怒哀楽」, featuring all of Takahisa Masuda‘s musical works that have been released on previous group albums over the years.
This new project has been carefully thought out to gather all the musical facets of the artist: acapellas, harmonizations, rap, overdubs, dance tracks, etc. All the happiness, anger, sadness and joy (reflected in the title) of Takahisa Masuda are compiled in one album.

In addition, it has also been announced that his first solo concert “Takahisa Masuda 1st Live Kidoairaku” 「増田貴久 1st LIVE 喜怒哀楽」 will be held on February 18th at the Osaka Festival Hall, and on February 25th and 26th at the Tokyo Garden Theatre.
