As we countdown days to the release of the DVD and Blu-ray release of Naniwa Danshi Live Tour 2023 “POPMALL,” Naniwa Danshi just dropped the performance video of one of their sexiest dance tracks, LAI-LA-LA!
Although Naniwa Danshi has a very bubbly, pop, and innocent image, they are no stranger to rather sexy music and dance tracks which shows clearly in their performance. Everyone brilliantly displayed their individuality along with their group synchronization on stage. You can see how much they have grown as a group and individually.
The opening choreography is absolutely delightful to watch. Seeing everyone being in clean sync with each other where no one dropped a beat tickles your senses in all the right ways. The position of the members for this choreography reminds us of their earlier performances pre-debut. The performance starts and ends with Daigo Nishihata in the center, and throughout the performance, the center rotates to give everyone their own spotlight. The center rotation itself is mesmerizing to watch.
It’d be a crime if I do not mention their ever-so-impressive vocals. Naniwa Danshi has never failed to impress their audience with their crisp live vocals and this “LAI-LA-LA” performance is no exception. The leader, Kazuya Ohashi, immediately continuing to hold a stable vocal moment after his amazing solo dance break will undoubtedly leave anyone in awe! As expected of the best dancer in the group!
While we are on the topic of being impressed, there is no way we could not mention the outfits. Absolutely love how the outfits are just the right amount of sexy. Not too little, neither too much. Pairing with the casual all-white stage outfits and Naniwa Danshi’s impeccable stage presence, the lighting elevated the performance to a whole new level. However, the camera angles could have been better. But do not fret if you cannot see more of your bias! The limited edition DVD and Blu-ray of Naniwa Danshi Live Tour 2023 “POPMALL” comes with a solo angle of every member! A total of 60 minutes (approximately) of solo angles, which includes the performances of “LAI-LA-LA,” along with “Ne,” and “I know.“
If you liked Naniwa Danshi’s “LAI-LA-LA” performance and want to see more of Naniwa Danshi’s dance performances, check out their performance of “2 Faced,” “truth” (original by Arashi) and “The Answer” on their YouTube channel!
“LAI-LA-LA’s” performance greatly displays Naniwa Danshi’s potential in terms of dance, music, and stage presence. As much as I love Naniwa Danshi’s cute and pop love songs, I can not wait to see more of this bold and sexy version of Naniwa Danshi in the future.
The DVD and Blu-ray release of Naniwa Danshi Live Tour 2023 “POPMALL” will be released on 14th February, 2024! Pre-order it now!
