Ae! group – pronounced as ‘a group‘ comprises, as of 2024, five members from the Kansai region of Japan: Yoshinori Masakado, Seiya Suezawa, Richard Keita Kusama, Ken Kojima, and Masaya Sano. The group’s formation was officially announced on February 18th, 2019, and is set to release their debut single “A BEGINNING” May 15th!

1. Which sauce on Takoyaki is the best!?
As many would argue, the standard sauce might be the best to go with takoyaki, but the boys are ready to find out if they’re wrong. At least one person in the group seems to be thinking differently, and that one is Yoshinori Masakado – the one who first proposed this idea but viciously got it shot down. Only for it to actually happen!

2. Kojima’s Words of Wisdom Karuta
Ae! group’s leader, Ken “Kojiken” Kojima, is a man of many words – literally. This man has a whole set of words of wisdom collected (thank you Sano), and while he might not understand all of them, they are certainly appreciated! In this video we get to hear more about some of them in a game of karuta, while also deciding on who the next person in charge to write down Kojiken’s words of wisdom will be!

3. Showing off their driving skills!
One of the scenarios that they sell as an idol is often a drive date where you get picked up by your beloved, and you drive around in a car, surrounding yourselves with the romantic tension of being in close proximity with the one you like. Ae! group shows off their driving skills in this video and even gets scores on how good (or bad) they do!
