This heartfelt piece was crafted with the intention of offering music that can act as a beacon of hope for those enduring ongoing challenges and deep sorrow following the Noto Peninsula earthquake of 2024, wishing for their swift recovery and brighter days ahead.
“WE ARE” is an anthem of encouragement, urging people to press forward toward a brighter future despite the difficulties and sorrows encountered along life’s journey. It carries a message of solidarity and support to all those who find themselves wounded and saddened amidst the trials of life.
Participating groups include NEWS, SUPER EIGHT, KAT-TUN, Hey! Say! JUMP, Kis-My-Ft2, timelesz, A.B.C-Z, WEST., King & Prince, SixTONES, Snow Man, Naniwa Danshi, Travis Japan, and Ae! group.
Furthermore, this work serves as a charity song, with all proceeds from the production being donated in full to the victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake.

Comment from Asami Kiyokawa (Creative Director/Art Production)
“I had the honor of serving as the creative director and art producer for “WE ARE / STARTO for you.” When considering what I could do for those affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake earlier this year, I was grateful for this opportunity to contribute in some way. “‘”Let’s live for today and hold hope for tomorrow.” Having experienced the Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and the Great East Japan Earthquake, I continue to create works themed around the future, encompassing hope, prayers, life, evolution, and the universal beauty of nature. It’s a wonderful song that brightens the heart. I would be delighted if everyone could get their hands on it.”
