King & Prince’s 15th single, “halfmoon/moooove!!,” which will be released on May 23rd, with “halfmoon” as the title track, has been selected as the theme song for the drama “Tokyo Tower,” starring member Ren Nagase.
“halfmoon” is a ballad produced by Takeshi Kobayashi, expressing the heart-wrenching and uncontrollable feelings of loving someone you shouldn’t.
Additionally, the single’s other title track, “Moooove!!“, has been chosen as the theme song for TV Tokyo’s 60th-anniversary drama series “Drama Premier 23: ’95’.” It’s a hip-hop dance song full of energy, penned by the emerging artist Ayumu Imazu. It advocates staying true to one’s aesthetic and boldly advancing without being bound by societal rules and noise.
