As an additional treat for enthusiasts, a special compilation episode comprising newly recorded footage will be aired on June 11th, adding an exciting lead-in to the premiere.

The second installment of this series continues to follow the unlikely love story between a hapless teacher and a cynical high school student in a low-tension love comedy.
For the sequel, renowned director Yuka Eda has been chosen, along with screenwriters Natsume Takahashi and Ayumi Shimoyu. Recently, teaser images and character portraits captured by Director Eda have been unveiled.

This drama holds a special place in my heart, and I couldn’t be happier to bring it back to all of you who have shown it so much love. Once again, I’m filled with gratitude for everyone who supports this project.
Jin Haiba, the character I portray, is often referred to as a “Haijin” by his students, but he also shows a gentle side by supporting Mikoto in various ways. His enigmatic personality is what makes him so intriguing. Lesson 2 is packed with scenes that further showcase Jin’s character, and there are some exciting additions that fans of the original work will surely appreciate.

“Falling high school girl and Irresponsible teacher“
Mikoto Ochiai (Akari Takaishi) is a female high school student who regularly gets high grades. But affairs of the heart have left her close to suicide. She attempted to make a love confession to the boy she loved, but the move backfired – and she has been left heartbroken. Utterly dejected, she heads up to the rooftop of the school and contemplates jumping off to her death.
But when she gets there, she runs into Jin Haiba (Ryo Hashimoto ), a young physics teacher. Most of the students consider Jin Haiba to be something of a walking joke. He is obviously a penniless slacker, and is also addicted to gambling. His life is going nowhere fast. But as she explains why she wants to die, he interjects by asking her if she would consider entering into a romance with him before she dies. She is unsure what to make of this strange suggestion. But when Jin Haiba intervenes to save her from a river, she begins to wonder if his proposal was actually heartfelt…
