AmBitious welcome a new addition to their group! Itsuki Yamanaka was officially announced as a new member of the group through a video on the Junior FAMILY CLUB website and a newly updated group profile on the Junior Official Website on May 1, 2024.
In the video announcement on the Junior FAMILY CLUB, SUPER EIGHT‘s Tadayoshi Ohkura, who is also the producer of AmBitious, has shared a brief comment regarding the addition of the new member.
“Starting in May, with the addition of Yamanaka Itsuki, AmBitious will become a group of nine. I’ve seen his unwavering dedication, which I believe will be a motivating presence for our current AmBitious. We’re looking forward to the continued growth of AmBitious and your support for the Kansai Juniors.

AmBitious has become known as an up-and-coming group with their great dance skills and acrobatics. Proving it several times through Ichita Inoue‘s hip-hop dance battle in Wasshoi CAMP! and a contemporary dance by Kawashita Gaku, Oka Yuri, Ouchi Rion, and Ichita during the Akeome Live 2024.
Earlier this year, the group announced their first national tour, “AmBitious OdoROK! DANCE TOUR,” heavily focusing on their dance abilities to further explore and showcase other dance genres, proving their skills.
Before his addition to the group, Itsuki Yamanaka is a member of another Kansai Junior unit, Boys be. During his time in the group, he’s been a member who gathers a lot of attention due to his dance skills, funny personality, and visuals.
He has proven his dance skills and idol-charms through his performances, most especially in “Kansai Jr. DREAM LIVE 2022,” where he performed Snow Man’s Grandeur with Ae! group’s Seiya Suezawa, Lil Kansai‘s Ruku Toma, and AmBitious‘ Yuri Oka, Leo Nagaoka, and Ichita Inoue, fully showing his capabilities to keep up even with the older members.
Despite his quiet image, he is one of the members who bring energy to the group and has been a mood-maker, as seen in the recent episodes on the Youtube channel. There surely was no question on how Itsuki was chosen to be a member, staying true to AmBitious‘ name of being hard-working and ambitious boys.
Following this announcement, he’ll be performing with AmBitious on their upcoming national tour. Additionally, Boys be will continue as an 11-member group in relation to Itsuki‘s transfer.
