【Statement from Juri Tanaka (SixTONES)】

“Even before receiving the offer to appear in the drama, I personally enjoyed reading the original manga, so I was extremely happy and excited for the shoot to begin. As a featured cast member, I approach each day on set with the thought of how I can convey the charm of this work.
My character, called Ui, is an important character in the original work and in fact one of my favorites in the series. While my portrayal of Ui in the drama may differ slightly from the original, he is still significant as the main character’s close friend, so I really concentrated on how to do the character justice for other fans. I hope that through Ui, even more viewers here in Japan and overseas will come to love this work as much as I have.
Please watch it with excitement and anticipation!”
