The track is exclusively included in the first limited edition A of the single, and “Shiawasemon.” showcases a different side of Ae! group’s musical prowess. Unlike the lively and upbeat “Ae! LAND,” and gritty and rocky “《A》BEGINNING,” “Shiawasemon.” stands out with its friendly melody and beautiful harmony, creating a brilliant yet gentle medium-paced song.

The song’s title, which roughly translates to “(a) fortunate person,” with an emphasis on that “something“/”someone” is the reason behind it, perfectly encapsulates its essence. “Shiawasemon.” can be interpreted as a love song from the group to their fans. WANT!!
Also featured only in the first limited edition B is “WANT!!,” an upbeat track with a dynamic horn arrangement. This song will surely become even more captivating when accompanied by dancing, hinting at an electrifying transformation during live shows.
The members’ strong and confident vocals add to the dynamic energy of “WANT!!” Each member takes turns showcasing their vocal prowess, adding depth and variety to the song; Richard’s groovy and unique vocals soar and excel in this song like none other!

“+You” is the theme song for the MBS morning program “Saturday Plus,” where Yoshinori is a regular in. It’s a refreshing and bright tune perfect for the morning, with lyrics sprinkled with words like “Saturday+SUNSHINE” and “Smiles+You are the best,” echoing the program’s name “Plus.”
The track is included in the regular edition and the UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE limited edition and allows fans to experience the warmth and inclusiveness typical of Ae! group. The song is beautifully produced and gives the listener a full 5.1 experience with the panning of certain elements of the song. It’s hard not to smile as you listen, and it really is the perfect song to welcome the brand new day!
The song begins immediately with the catchy “Say hello！ Saturday + Sunshine！” accompanied by Yoshinori’s assuring “Now, let’s jump out!” and continues into the chorus. It immediately sets the tone for the bright and cheerful track that “+You” is. Their harmonized vocals are a delight to listen to, and the lyrics are uplifting and motivating. Waking up has never been easier with their voices to welcome the day!
“+You” truly brings a smile to your face with the way you can imagine the members smiling faces as they sing, and the added cheering and laughs in the background only add to the feeling. And even if you happen to fall down, laugh it off with a “hahaha”!
Junjou Pathfinder (純情パスファインダー)
Furthermore, the regular edition features “Junjou Pathfinder,” the group’s first theme song for a drama, “Kaette Kitara Ippai Shite,” in which Ken portrayed one of the lead characters.
Compared to the other songs, “Junjou Pathfinder” takes on a less traditional approach to the sound we’re used to hearing from Ae! group and STARTO in general. The song also has the potential to be performed as a band arrangement, but its true appeal lies in the alluring way they deliver the lines, matching the theme of the drama.
The rap in the second verse and the bridge break the expected rhythm of the song and are two of its highlights. Seiya’s harmonies send shivers through you, and the star of the drama, Ken, delivers his lines effortlessly in the song, especially the opening and the last “君とふたりで.”
It’s catchy, it’s addicting, and it’s far from “pure-hearted” as the title might imply. Although, the true ending might be filled with an innocence that’s almost childlike.
Firebird
The UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE limited edition includes “Firebird,” one of their popular pre-debut and Junior era songs. Mostly known for Seiya’s ever-so-popular heart-throbbing line of “熱くしてやるよ” (“I’ll turn up the heat“), the chorus echoing of “Wow” and “Yeah” has become a staple among fans to join in at concerts.
It’s something special to hear a beloved Junior song in studio recorded quality. A true testament of just how far they have come and achieved. It is an energetic and passionate song that perfectly embodies Ae! group’s fiery spirit and determination. The song’s energetic rhythm and catchy lyrics set hearts ablaze every time it is performed.
As soon as the first few notes of “Firebird” fill the air, the listener is transported to a world of fiery passion and pulsing beats. Being one of their more dance focused numbers, “Firebird” certainly lives up to its name and fires up the audience every time it is performed.
