SixTONES member Yugo Kochi appeared on a PTV’s Filipino morning show “Rise and Shine Pilipinas”. He also promotes the upcoming episode “Dounarude SHOW” (どうなるでSHOW) that was shot in the Philippines.
On May 14, Yugo appeared on the morning show to promote and invite people to watch as they do an experiment of cooking using the sunlight. He also holds a sign with a Filipino translation of this experiment, which also piques the interest of the local hosts. Yugo also said “Thank you” in Filipino after his promotion spiel.
“This is one, shall we do sun cooking together? We’ll be doing an experiment for a Japanese TV show, where we’ll see what happens when sunlight is reflected on many mirrors and how to cook with that. We want as many people as possible to participate, so if you want to participate, let’s meet tomorrow at 9:30 AM. If it rains, let’s meet the day after tomorrow at the same time. The place is at Sta. Maria. Maraming salamat po.” – Yugo Kochi

They also asked about his experience in the Philippines so far and if there are any places he would like to go to. Yugo said he’d want to go to Cebu to experience the beach, and if there were hot springs, he’d also like to go there. The hosts, in turn, actively gave a lot of suggestions for places to go to.
The hosts also did a short interview asking about how Yugo manages his time being a singer, actor, as well as his hobbies. He answers that he loves what he do and doesn’t find it hard to manage.
The short interview ends with Yugo promoting SixTONES‘ social media and a quick show-off segment of him showing off his soccer skills.
Although the Filipino fans were able to get a hold of it late, support immediately floods in on the show’s Instagram and YouTube account. Comments and likes grew triple over the past hour since it became known, showing how warm and passionate the fans support are. Filipino TeamSixTONES surely cannot wait to see Yugo, as well as the other members of SixTONES to come back to the Philippines.
