King & Prince「Theater」MV Short Clip + “STARRING” Film Collection Teaser

During King & Prince‘s YouTube live stream few days ago, there was some minutes for a video reaction, where the duo and Tiaras too were able to exchange impressions as they watched the first images from “Theater” music video belonging to their new album “STARRING“, inspired by cinema, which was launched for the first time! After the live ended, the short clip was released on YouTube for anyone who wants to enjoy it!

This danceable funk-based track was written, composed, and choreographed by Ayumu Imazu, who also composed the title track for their fifteenth single, “moooove!!“, which has been so successful on music streaming platforms.

Regarding this new song, Ayumu Imazu commented, “I felt a little pressure because people really liked our previous work, but I think this time we’ve managed to create a song that we can perform with confidence. When I heard the concept for the album and thought about what title to give the song, I felt that ‘Theatre’ was the perfect title, as it is a place where various stories unfold, and from there I expanded the universe of the song.” He also commented, “I feel that the song is even more captivating because it’s sung by two people who are causing sensation in the Japanese music scene.“

In addition, a few hours later, the “STARRING” Film Collection Teaser was released, showing a brief summary of all the “films” recorded and related to each of the tracks on this incredible album.

Also the jackets for each of the available editions which had previously been revealed, full of colour and a totally unique style!
