“Toshishita Kareshi” (年下彼氏) [English Title: Younger Boyfriend] previously starring Naniwa Danshi and Ae! group announces new season with a new batch of casts. “Toshishita Kareshi 2” starring Lil Kansai, AmBitious, Boys Be, and Juniors teases their episode titles and description on their upcoming season!
Similar to its first season, “Toshishita Kareshi 2” follows 17 mini-stories of heart-warming love stories between younger boys and older girls. The main cast for this season will be all five members of Lil Kansai, Toa Shimazaki, Takuya Nishimura, Fuga Onishi, Kotaro Okazaki, and Ruku Toa who has shown exceptional growth since their previous appearance in the first season.
Alongside Lil Kansai, other main characters were decided through an audition amongst the Juniors. AmBitious‘ Takeyuki Mayumi, Itsuki Yamanaka, Leo Nagaoka, Rikuto Ura, Rion Ouchi, and Taro Yoshikawa. Boys Be‘s Atsushi Ito, Yukiya Ikegawa, Shintaro Sumi, and Kairi Kamei. In addition, Juniors Taiga Watanabe, Kane Mori, Eito Motoshige, and Sukoyaka Okano will also appear.
To add the anticipation, the drama already teases and lets the fan guest which members will play on each episode through its titles and episode description. The series consists of 17 short dramas, having 15 minutes each episode and a total of 2 episodes per day.
Additionally, the season’s theme songs were also sang by no other than the juniors themselves entitled “Next To You”. It is a refreshing song about the innocent, pure, and straightforward love, keeping in the series’ theme and adding excitement to the drama.
