Live Report: King & Prince Fireworks Event 2025

On November 15 and 16, 2025, King & Prince returned to ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba for their second annual fireworks event, welcoming an incredible 60,000 fans over two nights. Author Amy had the honor of attending the event, covering the evening for Dumpling Box.

I attended the final day of the event, and even before entering the venue, I could already feel the festive atmosphere as Tiaras (King & Prince’s adorable name for fans) were decked out in merch, taking photos with the large banners, and enjoying the food truck area filled with regional delicacies. There was even a section called Tiara Fes where fans could sign up to sing their favorite King & Prince songs! Despite the event being held in mid-November, it felt like I had been transported to a summer festival.

The show started at 4:30 pm, just as the sun began to set. As King & Prince emerged on stage to the cheers of Tiaras echoing throughout the stadium, Ren opened the show by shouting, “Welcome to our fireworks show!!” while fireworks burst behind him. They were dressed in yukata and geta, perfect summer festival outfits, but since we were smack dab in the middle of autumn, I immediately worried they might be chilly 😅 Still, ever the professionals, they embraced the atmosphere and jumped straight into performing “HEART,” their 16th single.

From there, Ren and Kaito hopped onto moving carts at opposite ends of the main stage and traveled toward the back of the stadium while performing “Nanimono” and “My Love Song,” waving enthusiastically at fans the entire time. The carts then brought them to a viewing platform at the back, where they settled in to welcome everyone and introduce the main attraction: the fireworks! After a countdown, everyone turned their attention back to the main stage to enjoy the display with King & Prince.

The first fireworks block featured songs from their album Re:ERA:LOVE HACKER,” “Odyssey,” “POPSTAR in the KINGDOM,” “Shimi,” and “Harajuku,” all perfectly synchronized with the visuals for a truly breathtaking effect. It was striking to watch the fireworks against the setting sun, which gradually melted into the night sky. From my quick glance back at King & Prince as they watched the fireworks, I noticed Kaito singing into his mic during “POPSTAR in the KINGDOM,” which made me think that he really loves that song, and honestly, totally understandable, as it’s a banger!

The next fireworks segment focused on their upbeat, dance-heavy tracks like “I Know,” “Namae Oshiete,” and “moooove!!. Throughout this part, Ren and Kaito took turns recording videos and photos of each other with the fireworks behind them.

It was an incredibly cute moment, even if I did completely miss some fireworks because I was busy watching them instead 😂

After that segment, they shifted into the MC corner, which had a cozy winter theme. They performed back number’sHeroine” (apparently one of Ren’s favorite artists) and an acoustic version of their own “I promise.” Kaito actually messed up the opening of “Heroine,” which Ren instantly teased him for, but he quickly redeemed himself by singing it a cappella during the MC. It was an adorable moment that had fans grinning from ear to ear.

The following fireworks block featured King & Prince’s Christmas songs such as “Winter Love Story,” “Happy Holy Night,” and “Kimi to Merry Christmas,” creating a heartwarming holiday vibe throughout the stadium. Even the fireworks matched the theme, with festive bursts of green and red. It’s not every day you get to enjoy holiday music paired with a fireworks show!

Then, as if the night couldn’t get any more exciting, a teaser for their seventh album STARRING, releasing on Christmas Eve, began playing. Fans were then treated to the very first listen of the lead track “Theater,” paired with a stunning, almost cinematic fireworks display.

Ren and Kaito then reappeared at the back of the stadium in outfits far more appropriate for the chilly weather and spoke about the upcoming album, even teasing the music video for “Theater” as something to look forward to, which is scheduled to premiere on YouTube on November 20, 2025, at 20:30. The full MV was released on December 21, 2025.

After that, they kicked off another round of fireworks beginning with their debut song “Cinderella Girl,” followed by its B-side “Funk it up.” A series of love-themed songs continued, including “Kimi ni Todoke,” “High On Love!” and “Lovin’ you.

As the segment ended, King & Prince talked about how much they enjoyed sharing this moment with fans before moving into the show’s final portion. After a few extra moments of waiting for Kaito to put his shoes back on (adorable 😂), the pair hopped onto individual moving carts and made their way back to the main stage while performing “What We Got ~Kiseki wa Kimi to~” and “WOW,” all while showering Tiaras with fanservice. Fireworks continued bursting across the night sky, making it a spectacular and heartwarming way to close the event. Before leaving the stage, they took their time thanking fans right up until the very end.

From here on, King & Prince will continue full steam ahead with a four-dome tour from January to March, along with pop-up stores across five cities to celebrate their new album. Tiaras definitely have a lot to look forward to!
