As vertical short dramas rapidly gain popularity on social media, STARTO ENTERTAINMENT‘s acting unit will be releasing an omnibus-style short series centered on the theme of “turning points” that modern adults encounter amid various struggles involving family, work, and relationships.
The drama focuses on everyday moments such as hesitation, decision-making, and the instant when one takes a step forward—experiences that everyone goes through. Through the passion and performances of the ACTaLE (“Akutare”) members—a group of solo actors within STARTO who formed a mutual alliance as such, where the name “ACTaLE” is a portmanteau of “actor talents“—the project aims to deliver stories that will resonate deeply with viewers.
The series’ title comes from the order given just before the start of a race, expressing the moment of readiness immediately before beginning. Adults who reach turning points in their lives, while carrying doubt and anxiety, once again step up to the starting line. The show captures these “moments of restarting,” reflecting that very sentiment.
“Ichi ni Tsuite” will be released every Thursday around 6:00 p.m. JST on its official accounts on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok: @ichi.ni.tsuite.
