Shounen Ninja’s Ryusei Fukada joins NTV live-action drama “Wakakusa Monogatari: Koisuru Shimai to Koisenu Watashi” (若草物語―恋する姉妹と恋せぬ私―) [English Title: Little Women] as Touji Namuta. The show also stars Mayu Hotta, Sawa Nimura, Mei Hata and Neru Nagahama as their leads.
“Wakakusa Monogatari” is a live-action drama based on a coming-of-age novel “Little Women” written by American novelist Louisa May Alcott. Giving it a more modern approach, the story is set at the year 2024 following four sisters of the Machida family live together in a small town in Japan. The four sisters search for their own happiness, while they face difficulties with work, love, and marriage.
RYUSEI FUKADA AS TOUJI NumATA
He is a fashion student aspiring to be a fashion designer and a classmate of Mei (played by Mei Hata), the youngest sister. He is always dressed in expensive fashion items and looks rich but his private life is shrouded in mystery and draws a line around himself. Numata is mysterious and sexy but somewhat elusive, a bewitching “numa otoko” who you can’t help but fall for even though he’s dangerous to fall in love with. Mei suddenly became close to Numata through an unexpected turn of events, but in reality Numata has “certain conditions”

I am Ryusei Fukada, who plays Touji Numata.
Numata is a cool, troubled fashion student who is classmates with the youngest sister, Mei.
The atmosphere on set was very warm, and it was fun filming.
Above all, the four sisters are as close as real sisters, and their perfect chemistry is heartwarming to watch. We’ve only been filming for a few days, but I can’t wait for the next shoot!
This is a very heartwarming work that people of all ages can watch, and I myself am very happy to have been able to be involved in such a wonderful production.
