Ae! group (Aぇ! group) has been announced as the theme song artist for the upcoming live-action film “Osomatsu-san: Humanity Degeneration Project!!!!!? (おそ松さん 人類クズ化計画!!!!!?)”, set to premiere in Japan on June 12, 2026.
The newly revealed theme song, “DEKOBOKO LIFE” (でこぼこライフ), was previewed for the first time in the film’s newly released trailer.
“Dekoboko Life” delivers a signature Ae! group band sound, pairing energetic instrumentation with a playful, positive message.
The lyrics emphasize embracing imperfection and moving forward at your own pace, and the song’s chaotic energy and rapid-fire arrangement reflect the group’s lively style while perfectly matching the comedic tone of Osomatsu-san. Even when things go wrong, the message is clear: “It’s fine just the way it is.”
With its explosive tempo and relentless momentum, the track may be one of Ae! group’s most high-tension releases yet.
A Chaotic World in the New Trailer
The newly unveiled trailer opens with the familiar lazy everyday life of the Matsuno sextuplets—six unemployed brothers living as hopeless NEETs.
But the story quickly spirals into absurdity.
For reasons unknown, society suddenly begins idolizing “losers”, showering them with money, praise, and celebrity treatment simply for being useless.
What initially looks like a dream scenario soon reveals itself as the beginning of the mysterious “Humanity Degenerates Plan.”
In a world where being worse makes you better, the fate of humanity somehow ends up in the hands of the six brothers—who are determined to restore the comfortable world where they can go back to doing absolutely nothing.
The trailer is narrated by Yuichi Nakamura, the voice actor of Karamatsu in the anime series, while Ae! group’s high-speed theme song drives the chaos forward.
Poster Visual Also Revealed

Alongside the trailer, the official poster visual has also been released.
The design features the six brothers bursting through the poster itself, surrounded by the franchise’s eccentric cast of characters—promising an even more over-the-top continuation of the Osomatsu-san world.
The poster will begin appearing in theaters across Japan starting March 20 (excluding some locations).
Film Synopsis
The film is based on Fujio Akatsuka’s classic gag manga Osomatsu-kun. Alongside the announcement, new scene stills have been released featuring the “sextuplets” portrayed by Seiya Suezawa, Yoshinori Masakado, Masaya Sano, Ken Kojima of Ae! group, Keita Richard Kusama, and along with Takuya Nishimura of Kansai Junior.
With all six lead actors hailing from the Kansai region, the film promises to retain the franchise’s signature chaotic humor, infused with Kansai-born comedic sensibilities, while reimagining Osomatsu-san through a brand-new cast and creative team.
The Matsuno sextuplets—Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu, and Todomatsu—are over 20 years old, unemployed, freeloading off their parents, hopelessly trashy, and still virgins: truly irredeemable NEETs. Ignoring their parents’ wish for them to become “normal adults,” they continue to live their useless, degenerate daily lives as usual.
However, from one day onward, the reactions of those around them suddenly change. Their trashy behavior starts being praised, and something feels… off. Has the world finally caught up to the sextuplets!? Is that even possible!? What on earth is happening to the world!?
Each member of the cast brings something hilariously fitting to the Matsuno roles:
- Seiya Suezawa as Osomatsu — the irresponsible eldest brother who somehow always ends up in charge.
- Yoshinori Masakado as Karamatsu — the delusional poser with too much confidence and too many leather jackets.
- Masaya Sano as Choromatsu — the anxious voice of reason who’s rarely reasonable.
- Ken Kojima as Ichimatsu — the deadpan cat lover with a permanent case of gloom.
- Keita Richard Kusama as Jyushimatsu — the unhinged baseball-loving wild card.
- Takuya Nishimura as Todomatsu — the manipulative baby-faced socialite with a hidden bite.
