WEST.’s Daiki Shigeoka features the Philippines on upcoming episode of Riatotsu West (リア突WEST). He went to enjoy the festivities of Taguig City, busy streets of Binondo Manila, and more.
Fan reports sighting of him filming around Manila last July causing excitement from Filipino fans in general. Speculations about it being for their show Riatotsu WEST began to rise exciting both Filipino and Japanese Jasmines (WEST Fans) alike. This speculation got confirmed as the show releases its preview for their upcoming episode on September 15th.
Daiki excitedly screams about his first ever experience going abroad. The show’s segment already showcased members going abroad but Daiki‘s debut for this segment makes it a more memorable episode. The preview shown at the end of the earlier episode was him dancing and joining the festival playing around with kids and aunties alike. He also roamed around the shopping district and was able to showcase his English skills as he tries to ask locals about the drink they were having. Aside from the magic water (sugar water with gelatin), Daiki also tries out a local delicacy, Balut (fertilized duck egg).
Additionally, he seemingly also tried bungee jumping in the mountains completing his whole experience. It is said that he will also be trying to discover something in the show that locals don’t event know. Although the full episode hasn’t been shown, fans are already excited with the preview. Filipino Jasmines also started playfully joking about Daiki being the “Kuya Kim of Japan” due to his similar outfit to the Filipino television presenter Kim Atienza who also has a similar informative show “Matanglawin”.
