Snow Man’s ‘One’: Perfect Theme for Blue Lock’s U-20 Challenge

BLUE LOCK is back and better than ever! The second season, BLUE LOCK VS. U-20 JAPAN, is heating up with a brand-new promotional video. And guess what? The ending theme song, “One” by Snow Man, is sure to be a total bop!

One” will be included in Snow Man’s fourth album “RAYS,” set to be released on October 30. Snow Man’s own Daisuke Sakuma is a huge fan of the series and expressed his excitement about being part of the show. “BLUE LOCK is a work I fell in love with after watching the anime, so I’m very happy to be able to contribute to this anime. The ending theme song ‘One’ is a medium ballad sung by each member of Snow Man, woven together. It’s a song that expresses a fighting spirit, dreams, and ‘ego’ that burn hotter than blue amidst a quiet melody, so I believe it fits perfectly within the world of BLUE LOCK.”

The song is a rather fitting song to use as an ending for a sports anime such as BLUE LOCK where everyone shares the same dream and goal. Their one dream and goal. This fits the U-20 arc that this season 2 covers where everyone is trying to chase that number one spot in order to get closer to their dream to become the best striker in the world. It’s a melodic and inspiring song that is perfect with the vocals that Snow Man holds.

The song will be available for worldwide streaming and download on subscription services and download services from 12:00 JST on October 14th!

It will be available on music streaming services such as Apple Muisc, Amazon Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, LINE MUSIC, and AWA, as well as music download services such as iTunes Store and Recochoku, as a digital single.

The PV gives us a glimpse into the struggles of the main character Isagi Yoichi and his teammates as they try to make it onto the U-20 Japan national team. With rival strikers like Itoshi Rin, Shidou Ryusei, and Karasu Tabito showcasing their incredible skills, the competition is fierce and nothing like ever before. As the clock ticks, and egos develop and evolve, Isagi remarks, “If things continue like this, we won’t be able to do anything,” showing signs of difficulty to keep up. The thought of giving up never crosses his mind though, and his own ego is set ablaze.

As “One” plays, we’re introduced to Itoshi Sae and Oliver Aiku from the U-20 Japan national team. How will these talented players fare against the BLUE LOCK squad?

BLUE LOCK is based on the manga of the same name serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. The story revolves around a soccer project initiated by Japan, aiming to cultivate high school players with “overwhelming egoism” in response to the Japan national team’s failure at the World Cup.

A total of 300 high school students have been gathered, all strikers, depicting the birth of strikers who will revolutionize Japanese soccer, sacrificing the soccer lives of 299 players.

With over 40 million copies in print, the series has become a massive hit and the first season of the TV anime aired from October 2022 to March 2023.

RAYS” is set to release physically on October 30, featuring exclusive bonus tracks and behind-the-scenes content across three special editions. Don’t miss out on adding this masterpiece to your collection.
