Naniwa Love!! Celebrating Naniwa Danshi’s Debut Anniversary in Malaysia!!

It’s been 5 years since I became a Nanifam. Naniwa Danshi was a newly formed Junior group of Kansai STARTO. Ever since I found them I have wanted them to debut and shine brighter than anyone else on the stage. Everyday leading up to Naniwa Danshi’s debut was filled with excitement and a dash of anxiousness. Hoping for their debut announcement at any major events is a core memory that I believe most pre-debut Nanifams share. Then finally came the much awaited day, 7/28, Naniwa no Hi, 2021, when their debut was finally announced!

3 years since then and now we are already celebrating Naniwa Danshi’s 3rd debut anniversary! Time flies by so fast!

To celebrate Naniwa Danshi’s 3rd debut anniversary, Nanifams in Malaysia hosted a fan viewing of their debut tour 1st Love on November 10! Phrasing this as Nanifams in Malaysia instead of Malaysian Nanifams because out of the 10 Nanifams who gathered for the event one of them was a Bangladeshi living in Malaysia. It was me, the author right here.

I have always wanted to attend or organize an event like this and connect with Nanifams in real life. Although it was a last moment event with very little time to plan everything, it still was a success thanks to everyone who responded and attended the event. I honestly believe that it was our love for Naniwa Danshi that brought us all together. Even though I don’t speak the language that my friends speak here in Malaysia, that did not stop us from having fun and singing along with Naniwa Danshi!

Everyone brought their Naniwa Danshi goods, filled the room with balloons, and once we were finished decorating it was looking real pretty! We also brought a cute cake that was as colorful as Naniwa Danshi to celebrate the occasion! It was a really fun time watching 1st Love with everyone. We also talked a lot about Naniwa Danshi’s upcoming Asia Tour of +Alpha! Although Malaysia is not one of their stops for the tour, a few Nanifams will be joining them in their Taipei and Seoul concerts! We hope that Naniwa Danshi can expand their horizons and can hopefully come to this side of Asia as well!

With English Subtitles, thanks to dedicated fans!

We hope to organize more events like this in Malaysia in the future, so if you are a Nanifam in Malaysia, keep an eye on X~ To commemorate their debut, listen to Naniwa Danshi’s first single “UBU LOVE” and check out their available discography on Spotify!

P.S: Naniwa Danshi’s first digital single “Arigatou Kokoro Kara”/”Yuuki 100%” is going to be released on streaming platforms on 11/22! Look forward to it~
