To celebrate the release of NEWS’ 31st single, “Acchi Muite Hoi,” on Wednesday, November 13th, a dance video campaign titled “#Acchi Muite Hoi Dance Challenge” is now open on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram! NEWS members will personally visit the winners of the “Outstanding Award” entries!
Open to All Ages from Kids to Seniors! Six Categories Available
NEWS’ new song “Acchi Muite Hoi“ is the theme for the drama “Takasugi-san’s Obento,” starring member Keiichiro Koyama, celebrating family. This anniversary song marks NEWS’s 500th release, incorporating the familiar game “Acchi Muite Hoi” into its lyrics and choreography, making it a fun song for everyone to sing and dance along to.
In honor of the CD release, the campaign invites dance video submissions across six categories: “Kids,” “Students,” “Working Adults,” “Seniors,” “Dance Club,” and “Team NEWS.” Whether you copy the choreography exactly or freestyle, express “Acchi Muite Hoi” in your own way!
NEWS Members to Visit Winners, Featured on YouTube
NEWS members will act as the judges for the campaign entries! Plus, they’ll visit the winners of the “Outstanding Award” and even dance “Acchi Muite Hoi” with them!
This visit will be shared later on NEWS’ official YouTube channel, NewTube. A “dance tutorial” video with NEWS and cute animations is already available on the campaign’s special site and YouTube. Dance to “Acchi Muite Hoi” at home, school, work, or on the go—make it your own special moment!
