Ae! group‘s Seiya Suezawa is to star in the MBS drama titled “Kanojo to Kareshi no Akarui Mirai” along with Nagisa Sekimizu. The drama is based on the best selling manga of the same name by Natsuko Taniguchi. The drama will start airing from January 11, 2024 on MBS.
The story follows the love story of a dull elementary school teacher, Ichiro Aoyama (Seiya Suezawa), who has a girlfriend, Yukika Sasaki (Nagisa Sekimizu), who is the most important person in the world to him. She is so incredibly cute that he thinks she is “wasted on him”! She is the first person to affirm his existence and to love him wholeheartedly. A person who also overwrites the “unpleasant reality” with a happy cohabitation life, undoubtedly this is the peak of life! However, one day when he tried out a friend’s invention ‘a VR machine to look into the past’, he learns about the past of his beloved Yuka, which makes him disbelieve in his own eyes.

Seiya Suezawa of Ae! group (Aぇ! group) plays the role of the main character Ichiro Aoyama. Formed in 2019, Ae! group is a 6 member idol group from the Kansai region in Japan. Along with Seiya, the members are, Yoshinori Masakado, Richard Keita Kusama, Ken Kojima, Taisei Fukumoto, and Masaya Sano.

However, as I continued reading, I realized that the character/he had many similarities with me, and I felt a sense of closeness.
