SixTONES announced their 14th single called “バリア(Barrier)”, which will be released on March 19th.
“Barrier” is the theme song for the film “A Girl & Her Guard Dog” (“Ojō to Banken-kun”) starring SixTONES‘ Jesse, which is set to hit theaters on March 14th. The details of the film are explained here.
The single will be available in three formats: MTV Unplugged Edition (CD+DVD), First Press Limited Edition (CD+DVD) and a Regular Edition (CD only).
The CD and DVD included in MTV Unplugged Edition will feature its version of the program of the same name, which aired on January 19th on MTV Japan. SixTONES performed on this traditional stage for a one-night-only acoustic live performance. In this edition, in addition to the program broadcast on TV, songs and a part of the MC that were cut from TV will be added, making it an unforgettable memory for the fans.
The DVD of First Press Limited Edition will feature the music video (MV) of Barrier, along with Street Dance Performance, Museum Dance Performance and behind-the-scenes footage from the jacket and MV shooting.
