COMMENT BY TAIGA KYOMOTO
I have been performing in musicals for about 10 years, but last year was the first time I had the opportunity to be involved in the Tony Awards Ceremony. It was a truly luxurious time for me to experience the wonderful performances and the sense of unity and excitement in the audience created by the passion that the cast and crew had put into the production. The Tony Awards Ceremony gave me a great deal of inspiration, which motivated me and influenced the way I approached the work afterward.
In the studio, Yoshio and Emma created a very warm atmosphere, and last year, I genuinely enjoyed the awards ceremony. But this time, I hope to be able to play a role as a special supporter.
Also, this year, I will visit New York Broadway, the home of musicals, for the first time. I believe that because the stage is live, there are things you can only feel on that day and in that moment, so I want to bring to everyone the atmosphere I felt in the real place.
