Ae! group is lighting up the stage with their national arena tour, Aぇ! group LIVE TOUR 2025 D.N.A, and now, they’ve got even more exciting news for their fans!
On March 30th, during their show at Yokohama Arena, they announced the release of their highly anticipated 3rd single, “Chameleon,” set to drop on June 18th.
This announcement comes hot on the heels of their successful first album release, D.N.A, which hit shelves on their group’s anniversary, February 18th. With the album in tow, Ae! group has been dazzling fans on their nationwide tour. Now, fans are in for even more thrills with their latest single that continues the trend the group is doing by following the alphabet in their single releases.
The lead track, “Chameleon,” carries a powerful message—not about hiding but about embracing the idea of changing colors to express who you truly are. For Ae! group, as they venture into a fresh, exciting sound that reflects their ever-evolving artistry, it only continues to enhance the colors they have painted so vividly on our worlds.
It is also a catchy dance track with distinctive choreography, and leader Ken Kojima admitted candidly, “I gave it a go, but I’m ready to throw in the towel.” Yoshinori Masakado promoted the song by saying, “It’s a stylish rock tune unlike anything we’ve done before.”
Six years since their formation, each of the five members has made strides in various fields—acting, radio, and more. They continue to move steadily forward. Masakado expressed his gratitude, saying, “The ones who truly breathe life into the concerts we create are, without a doubt, the people in the audience.” He added, “Let’s continue to create the best memories and scenery together with the five of us!”—promising boundless growth.

Every version of the single will feature the song “Destiny,” a track that will also be the theme song for the highly anticipated TV drama, Musashino Rondo (ムサシノ輪舞曲), starring their own Yoshinori Masakado.
