Fourth!
Leading up to the release of their fourth studio album, SixTONES released various videos for promotion on their official YouTube channel.
A non-stop digest video of the songs included in their fourth album gave the fans a glimpse of what SixTONES had prepared for their fourth album. A live performance video of the main track of the album “ANTHEM” was also uploaded. Previously, the YouTube version of the main track’s music video was also posted once the release date of the fourth album was announced. And of course, the much-awaited unit songs were also part of the string of promotional videos that were posted.
Fans were taken by surprise when the official YouTube page suddenly posted the music video for one of the tracks included in the album, “Only Holy,” right as they welcome in the new year.
A complete list of the songs and album inclusions can be found on the group’s official website.
SixTONES consists of 6 members – Jesse Lewis, Taiga Kyomoto, Hokuto Matsumura, Shintaro Morimoto, Kochi Yugo and Juri Tanaka, and made its co-debut in 2020 with Snow Man, another group from the same agency.
The name “SixTONES” is pronounced “Stones“, with the “ix” in “Six” being silent. The “stones” pronunciation refers to “diamond in the rough“, where the group’s potential emerges as its members continually polish and refine their skills. The name also refers to the six members, each with a distinctive tone, personality and sound.
A physical disc version of the full album drops on 10 January 2024 wherever Japanese CDs are sold, featuring additional bonus tracks and behind-the-scenes video extras!
Catch up on SixTONES’ previous digital releases as well as the fun (and very funny) variety videos uploaded weekly to their official channel!
