Radio Osaka to start its new program “Mayumi Takeyuki no Osharette Iwaretai” (真弓孟之のオシャレって言われたい) [Translation: Mayumi Takeyuki’s I Want to be Called Fashionable] starring AmBitious‘ Mayumi Takeyuki. Announced during Kansai Junior’s New Year Live “KANJU Akeome Live 2024 ~ The Showmon Raifuku” (関ジュあけおめライブ2024 The 笑門来福) Mayumi excitedly promotes his new program.
The new program aims to finish the debate between fans and friends about whether Mayumi is fashionable or not and develop him into a man with a great fashion sense. It is a 30-minute radio program that features and follows the path to establishing true fashion. The feature of this program is to communicate fashion with just sound and travel to various cities with the theme “fashion.”
In each episode, Mayumi will search for shops based on tips and information from fashion experts and fashion-conscious listeners. During these, he will visit trendy stores, experience the latest items, and check out essential stores.
It is a fashion-based program partnered with Japanese fashion magazine RAY. Photos of outfits coordinated by Mayumi on the radio location will also be a regular segment in the magazine monthly. Together with the listeners and readers, we will be watching Mayumi become fashionable bit by bit.
“Mayumi Takeyuki no Osharette Iwaretai” will start on February 2, 2024, and will be on Radio Osaka every Friday at 10:30 PM JST. You can also check Mayumi’s location shoot and photos on RAY Magazine, released every 23rd of the month, available at bookstores and online through Amazon.
