Jinsei Hamura about the role and the movie

For me, appearing in “Gold Boy” was an unexpected and special experience. I was very honored and happy when I was chosen to play Asahi Amuro after auditioning.
In order for you to fully experience the thrilling psychological battle between the murderer and the group that depicted in this work and its sense of urgency, I faced Asahi seriously in my own way.
Also, the visuals and atmosphere that were shot entirely on location in Okinawa are one of the charms of this work.
Scenes in the sea and mountains further enhanced the worldview of this film. I hope that many people will be able to see this work in theaters.

“Gold Boy” directed by Shunsuke Kaneko, will be in theaters on March 8, 2024. You can also watch Go!Go!kids reaction to the trailer through Gold Boy’s Youtube channel.
