Kis-My-Ft2 shows the different faces after an unrequited love in the MV for “I Miss You.”
Kis-My-Ft2 faces different situations in unrequited love in their new MV for “I Miss You,” part of their upcoming 10th album “Synopsis,” to be released on May 8.
The song is a mature style heartbreak song that has a chill rap style. The song first went on air on the April 15 (16) broadcast of the group’s regular radio show, “Kis-My-Ft2 Radio.” The song makes use of the telephone ringing all throughout, particularly in the intro and the outro.
The members are shown at different locations, longing for their one-sided love, with Toshiya Miyata starting off the song while at a sidewalk along the sea. It then cuts to Miyata being stuck in a telephone box. He’s followed by Wataru Yokoo, who is depicted at a cafe with a mug on the table. The follow-up shots are all the members stuck in the same telephone box, desperation painted on their faces.
Kento Senga can be seen waiting in an empty room in a house, clutching a phone in anguish while Takashi Nikaido can be seen inside a car, rapping his feelings out.
The transitions between Takashi Nikaido in the telephone box to Yuta Tamamori going from a train platform into the same telephone box to Taisuke Fujigaya are incredibly smooth, as if they were in the telephone box at the same time. The scenes then show Taisuke Fujigaya in a coin laundromat, showing the exact same emotions as the other members did in their scenes.
The music video will be available with other contents such as the member solo angles, album making documentary, Kisumai Bibiri Land, and more when it goes on sale on May 8!
