ROKUON!: A JOURNEY INTO NOSTALGIA

The show opened with an elaborate video filled with images from SixTONES‘ 10-year journey, setting the tone for an emotional and nostalgic celebration right from the start.

They kicked off with “BE CRAZY,” their very first original song as a group—a powerful throwback that instantly brought a wave of nostalgia. They wore the black and fluffy outfit from “Feel da CITY” (2022). Right from the start, Kochi and Shintaro were all smiles, clearly having fun.

They followed with beloved staples “Kokkara” and “Good Luck,” songs that have become part of SixTONES‘ identity. This time, they added a personal touch—changing some of the lyrics, saying “Today is the day of formation,” to mark their formation day and share the joy of the occasion with fans.

After a short speech, Juri introduced a rare setlist segment featuring songs they don’t usually perform. “I’d like to deliver to you songs that we don’t usually have a chance to sing at live performances or on music programmes,” Juri said, and the segment started with “Ame” and “PARODY,” the latter with exclusive livestream-only choreography.

SixTONES is known for their wide-ranging discography, and because of that, some fantastic songs often go unperformed. This special segment gave those hidden gems a rare moment to shine—songs that had never been brought to life on stage finally got the spotlight they deserved. It was a rare and thoughtful gift to fans, bringing lesser-known gems into the spotlight.

By that point in the livestream, the ticket price—regardless of the price point—already felt more than worth it, and the best was still to come!

The mood remained high as they launched into “JAPONICA STYLE,” which blended two choreography styles into one seamless performance, as seen on the “EIGHT-JAM” dance special, and it was a feast for the eyes!

While they changed costumes, the livestream played pre-recorded videos that were as entertaining as they were promotional—first a playful spotlight on their anniversary stickers, followed by a surprisingly elaborate Otome game-style ad for their double-sided acrylic stands. The attention to detail in even these moments showed just how much thought went into the event.

Just when fans thought they knew what to expect, Taiga and Shintaro began singing their duet “Kibou no Uta,” which suited them so well that it felt like they had been singing it for years. It was already a heartfelt surprise—but then, one by one, the other members joined in. What began as a quiet duet blossomed into a powerful full-group performance, catching everyone off guard in the best way possible.

What followed was a rare and delightful segment where each duet song was performed as a full group. Jesse and Juri’s EXTRA VIP” let them show off their sultrier side, while Hokuto and Kochi’s Makka na Uso” brought out their flair for drama. Finally, Taiga and Kochi’s La・La・La・Love Story” turned the stage into a whimsical cinema reel, with SixTONES reimagining iconic movie posters from all over the world in their own adorable way.

In interviews and at concerts, the members have always expressed that they really enjoy duets with the other members, so it was a dream come true to see a “Let’s sing a unit song with the six of us” segment!

Another Otome game parody, this time set 10 years later, followed. Then came a video digest of their May 1st, 2015 performance at Theater Crea—the day they officially became SixTONES.

With emotions high, they launched into a powerful medley of songs by the senpais they’ve long looked up to—especially KAT-TUN, whose influence runs deep in their history.

Songs like “Ai no Command” and “SIX SENSES” brought a fierce energy to the stage, while Kis-My-Ft2’s Shake It Up” added a nostalgic charm. “Shake It Up” was the title song from “Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou”, which was the drama that brought the 6 members together. Each track echoed the sounds that first shaped their dreams.

KAT-TUN is very important to SixTONES. Besides the fact that Juri is the younger brother of one of the former members, they have always identified very much with the kind of music KAT-TUN has brought to life.

They wore their iconic striped Junior-era suits—an instantly recognizable symbol for longtime fans. This medley wasn’t just a nod to their roots, but a heartfelt tribute to the supporters who stood by them during the uncertain early years. These songs helped shape their sound, spirit, and determination to keep moving forward.

While changing, a new version of the 1-minute 2024 New Year’s Day CM was shown. The CM contained scenes of the members having a good time at various times since their debut, and is centered on the song “Kokkara,” which has over 100 million YouTube views, and has since its release in 2023 become one of the group’s best-known songs. The fans were happy to be able to see the new version after a year and a half.

For the MC, the members, still in their medley costumes, sat before a backdrop of costumes from their 10-year history. Each member picked a favorite and shared their memories, highlighting their long journey. Not all the costumes they wore during these 10 years were present, but it was enough to remember all the nostalgic moments and to celebrate the 10th anniversary.

A pre-recorded segment showcased anniversary mini-photos, and you can see Taiga photographing the members as they recreated poses from a decade ago—showcasing their growth.

Then came one of the most emotional highlights of the night—a special segment where they performed one song for each year from 2025 back to 2015. As each song began, it felt like flipping through a photo album of their career, filled with memories of growth, struggles, and triumphs.

A total of 11 songs, and with each song that was performed, you were reminded of the good (and not-so-good) moments of the year the song was from. SixTONES suffered a lot during the Junior period, but that made them strong and prepared them to be where they are now.

They were wearing an outfit from their debut tour, called TrackONE -IMPACT-, which is an outfit that fans love.

Each song became a chapter in their story—moments that mirrored their challenges, milestones, and growth. “Barrier” marked their present, brimming with strength and maturity. “CREAK,” finally performed live after much anticipation, hit especially hard, as it is their only A-side they’ve never performed live until now. Earlier songs like “Jungle” and “Beautiful Life,” untouched by CD releases, brought back the raw energy of their Junior days.

They also performed tracks like “ANTHEM” (2024), “Rosy” (2022), “Boku ga Boku janai mitai da” (2021), and their debut song “Imitation Rain” (2020). “RAM-PAM-PAM” (2019) got the fans hyped as it brought back the infamous bedazzled SixTONES pants reveal choreography, and the party was in high spirits when they performed fan-favorites “IN THE STORM” (2016) and “この星のHIKARI” (2015).

You could feel their love in every note—each performance was delivered with care, pride, and the kind of emotion that only comes from living through every moment behind the music.

I could feel how much they loved and cherished all the songs they had sung. As the end roll was played at the end, it was visualised how many staff members were involved at this time. I have nothing but words of thanks for all the people who made this journey into nostalgia possible.

After the general part of the livestream was over, they played a CM with several videos of the group’s songs, while the names of the songs were shown. It felt like the perfect closing note—until the screen lit up once more.

What seemed like a nostalgic montage of their singles quickly turned into a surprise announcement: SixTONES‘ music would finally be available on streaming platforms, with 66 songs launching on May 17th. It was the kind of long-awaited news that made the entire night feel even more historic.

With many people not having a medium to listen to physical CDs, joining the streaming world is necessary in terms of the trend of the times, although fans will still buy physical CDs as they always have before!

As the final notes faded and the screen dimmed, fans were already brimming with emotion, thinking the journey had reached its end, but they had another surprise waiting.

For those watching with General Admission or FAMILY CLUB tickets, this was where the livestream concluded. But for those who purchased their tickets through the SixTONES fan club, a surprise message appeared on screen: “SixTONES fan club members, please continue to wait.” It was a quiet invitation that reignited the excitement all over again.

The fans were thinking, “What’s next? We’ve already watched a livestream that’s worth more than 600 yen!

The FC-exclusive encore began with “D-MOTION” (KAT-TUN), a nod to their Junior days. It’s a song they performed frequently as Juniors—one that fans have always praised for showcasing their raw energy and charisma even back then. Seeing them perform it again now, as a seasoned group, added a full-circle feeling that deeply resonated with longtime fans.

The MC that followed felt warm and familiar, almost like eavesdropping on a laid-back chat between close friends. The members joked and teased each other, with Jesse making everyone laugh as he confessed to forgetting his lines during rehearsal. Adding to the casual, behind-the-scenes feel, they wore their own clothes—a tradition that dates back to their 2016–2017 The Shounen Club days, when fans began noticing the subtle difference between rehearsal outfits and performance looks.

Then came the first performance of their next single, “BOYZ,” revealing new parts of the song. The final song was “Hikaru Kizashi,” a Junior-era song chosen with heartfelt sincerity. Instead of more expected choices like “Neiro” or “Suisei no Sora,” they picked a song that speaks directly to the journey they’ve shared with their fans.

Among all the Junior-era tracks, this one feels like the most heartfelt thank-you—a reward for those who have supported them since the very beginning. Jesse burst into tears—perhaps overwhelmed by the emotion of making it 10 years together, with no members lost.

When Shintaro said “Congratulations to each other, thank you to each other“, it was like they were saying that the feelings of SixTONES and their fans are mutual. The livestream ended with the members saying goodbye.

The members took time out of their busy schedule to plan this event, and although the stage design was simple, there was something deeply nostalgic about it. The lighting, visuals, and atmosphere carried a sense of familiarity—it almost felt like a modern echo of the stage where they first stood together and announced their formation 10 years ago. The costume displays and inserted clips were deeply thoughtful—making May 1st, 2025, a day fans will never forget.

No doubt, this is the beginning of what is to come: SixTONES is ready to go all out and conquer the world!
