Following the recent announcement made by SixTONES during their celebration of their 10th naming anniversary, we will be posting a 10-day countdown to introduce some of the songs that will be available for streaming on 17th May 2025!
“NAVIGATOR” was still fresh in the memories of fans of SixTONES as well as anime fans when “NEW ERA” was released. This song was used as the OP for the anime series “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon.”
SixTONES participated in YouTube FanFest 2020, where various artists were invited to livestream their performances. SixTONES performed their debut song “Imitation Rain” and their first performance of “New Era.”
Aside from the music video and the YouTube FanFest performance, a dance practice video was also uploaded to their YouTube account.
Performing at the YouTube FanFest gave SixTONES some exposure to international audiences.

We asked fans how they felt about this exposure and if “NEW ERA” was a song they expected from SixTONES:
“SixTONES really deserves getting exposure internationally because of their impactful artistry and strong appeal. Having NEW ERA as one of their best songs which reflected their determination to move forward in a fast pace with hopes of winning the future written for them, that’s it, that’s is SixTONES’ brand.” 💎 candice806299
“It is about time that SixTONES get the international exposure thru streaming, esp in mp3 format. As an international fan myself, even tho I can get their content easily because I live in Japan, there are times when I want to share their music and it’s not possible thru the traditional way. Putting NEW ERA as one of the song that can be streamed is a great choice because it’s a theme song of a popular anime, and the title of the song fits what they aimed before; to start a new era of the agency. I also still remember the sign language choreo for NEW ERA they did on YTFF. I want to see them doing it again one day.” 💎 neconifus
