After kicking off the sixth anniversary year of their debut in grand fashion with the best-of album MILESixTONES – Best Tracks –, SixTONES are keeping the momentum going with the release of a double A-side single!
The new single, “Ichibyo / Rebellion,” is set for release on March 18, 2026, and will be available in three formats: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, and a Regular Edition.
“Ichibyo,” which has been selected as Nippon TV’s official athlete support song for the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics 2026, carries a message about perseverance. The track reflects the countless seconds built through dedication, struggle, and tearful moments, delivering an uplifting anthem encouraging listeners to keep moving toward their dreams.
Meanwhile, “Rebellion,” the opening theme for the Nippon TV Sunday drama Punch Drunk Woman – ×× Days Until Escape –, starring Jesse, blends suspenseful tension with driving energy. The dance-rock track mirrors the drama’s prison-break storyline, capturing both the thrill of escape and the emotional urgency of breaking free from confinement.
Both Limited Edition A and Limited Edition B will include the two title tracks along with newly recorded versions of previously released unit songs, this time performed by all six members.
The DVD included in Limited Edition A will feature the music video and behind-the-scenes footage for “Ichibyo,” while Limited Edition B will include the music video, making-of footage, and a dance performance version of “Rebellion.”
The Regular Edition will contain the two title tracks alongside two new songs, “Bring The Bass” and “Flower Cloud,” as well as a rearranged version of their previous single, “Stargaze.”
