Naniwa Danshi Announce 5th Anniversary Album “ND5” — A Celebration of Their Past, Present, and What Lies Ahead

Naniwa Danshi have officially announced their new album “ND5” (read: N-D Five), set for release on June 17, 2026—marking the opening of their highly anticipated 5th anniversary year.

A group photo of eight individuals posing together against a beige background. They are dressed in various stylish outfits, including blazers, plaid patterns, and casual wear. Some are seated on chairs, while others stand beside them, exhibiting a friendly and fashionable demeanor.

As the group approaches the fifth anniversary of their CD debut this November, ND5 is built around the concept of “Naniwa Danshi to the 5th power.” It’s an idea that reflects not only time passed, but everything they’ve gathered along the way—the memories, the growth, and the shared moments that have shaped them into who they are today.

More than anything, the album looks to lean into the bright, heartfelt J-Pop sound that has always felt unmistakably like Naniwa Danshi—this time shaped around five years of memories, and everything that comes next.

The album’s main tracklist includes 15 songs, featuring previously released singles such as “Asymmetry,” “Black Nightmare,” “Never Romantic,” and “HARD WORK.” Leading the release is the title track “Celebrate,” a song centered on delivering love, happiness, and gratitude—fitting for an album that stands as both a milestone and a beginning.

Also included are “Be My Baby,” the theme song for the film Yamaguchi-kun Isn’t So Bad starring member Kyohei Takahashi, and the upbeat, groove-driven “Gimme The Day,” among other tracks that together present a full picture of Naniwa Danshi’s evolving sound.

The album also highlights collaborations with artists who have long-standing ties to the group. Following their 2022 single “Sachi-Are,” a new song written by Yujin Kitagawa marks their first collaboration in approximately four years. In addition, for the first time in around six and a half years since “Bokuzora ~Ashiato no Nai Mirai~,” a new track, “Boku ga Kawaikute Kimi ga Kawaikute” by Kenichi Maeyamada (hyadain) has been included across all editions. These contributions add another layer of meaning to the album—connecting past and present through familiar creative voices.

ND5 will be released in five different versions, each built around its own “ND” theme. Alongside distinct jacket visuals for each edition, bonus tracks will also be included, with full details to be revealed at a later date.

The Limited Edition [laND] version features a bonus disc of nine “hidden gems” personally selected by the members—songs that, in many ways, quietly define their journey. It also includes the music video and making-of footage for “Celebrate,” as well as footage from their BON BON VOYAGE release event in Tokyo.

The Limited Edition [ND] version offers a more personal glimpse into the group, with a special 5th anniversary project: a private one-night, two-day villa trip featuring all seven members. It also includes the “Gimme The Day” music video and behind-the-scenes content.

In the Limited Edition [diamoND] version, fans will find “Diamond Smile -Anniversary ver-,” a long-loved track from their Kansai Junior days, newly recorded with additional lyrics. The release also includes a newly produced music video for “Because I just love you,” which ranked #1 in a fan voting project—along with its making-of footage.

The Regular Edition [arouND] includes a special bonus track written by all seven members, described as a “love letter” to their fans.

Additionally, a FAMILY CLUB.STORE Online Exclusive [frieND] version has been announced, featuring a deluxe LP-size jacket designed to showcase the members’ visuals on a larger scale. Alongside the main 15-track album, this edition includes a second disc of 15 fan-selected songs, as well as a third disc compiling all 10 singles from their debut “UBU LOVE” through to “Doki it.”
