If you’re looking for a song that captures the essence of a “Diamond story,” look no further than “Celebrate.” This high-spirited anthem invites listeners into a magical wonderland where joy knows no bounds. With uplifting lyrics like “Twinkle! Rainbow stars!” and “Everybody clap your hands!!,” it’s impossible not to get swept up in the festive spirit the members are known for. True to its promise of a “never-ending melody,” “Celebrate” is the kind of song that stays with you long after it ends, making your heart sing and your feet move to the beat.
At its core, “Celebrate” is a heartfelt bouquet dedicated to the fans who have walked alongside the group since their debut—and even before. The lyrics reflect on the journey they’ve shared, acknowledging the winding roads, the moments of uncertainty, and the times when they had no choice but to stand still. Yet through every challenge, their bond has remained unwavering. As the track beautifully declares, “Because you’re here, we can be here,” reminding us that the Naniwa Danshi‘s greatest masterpiece isn’t just their music—it’s their ability to make the whole world smile.
The music video is a literal explosion of color, opening with the boys “gathering the light as morning unfolds.” The styling is quintessential Naniwa Danshi: bright, dramatic, and full of “twinkle,” reflecting their growth from their debut to the present day. True to their signature “sparkling” image, the styling for this release emphasizes how “everyone’s individuality connects into one piece.” The visual progression of their outfits reinforces this theme beautifully. Each member begins in a suit representing their individual member color before transitioning into coordinated, comfortable outfits that gradually blend together. The journey culminates in matching white tuxedos, symbolizing their unity while preserving the individuality that brought them there. Their presence is undeniably “dramatic,” mirroring the light of a new morning as they step into this festive era. The styling also captures the “twinkle” of the rainbow stars mentioned in the lyrics, reinforcing the idea that even as the seasons change, their “sparkle” remains a constant for their fans.
Five years after debuting, Naniwa Danshi continue to embrace this “Poppin’ Hoppin’ Dreamin'” energy that gives everyone the boost of energy they didn’t even know they needed! Let’s keep dreaming of a night that feels like magic forever! “ND⁵” is already available on all music streaming platforms!
