During a YouTube livestream held on August 9, Snow Man announced that their sixth album, “AMENITY,” will be released on October 7. For this collection, the members take on the role of hotel staff, inviting listeners into a luxurious experience. When you open the door, you find an extraordinary entertainment space that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The album’s concept embodies Snow Man‘s spirit of hospitality toward their fans—welcoming them with the very best music.
The First Press Limited Editions A and B are scheduled to contain a total of nine tracks, while the Standard Edition will feature fourteen. In addition to music videos for various songs, including new pieces, the two limited editions will also include behind-the-scenes footage and newly filmed variety-show-style bonus videos. All three editions include “BANG!!“, a theme featured in the “Sakamoto Days” live-action film starring Snow Man member Ren Meguro.
The artworks were created by Yuni Yoshida, one of Japan’s leading art directors, whose wide-ranging work includes advertisements and package designs for various brands, book design, and video production. In recent years, she has also successfully held solo exhibitions both in Japan and overseas. For the album cover, Yuni transforms bread and apples into hotel amenities, using her distinctive and playful staging to express the world of the album.
The music video for “グッタイム” (“Good Time“), the lead track from the album, has also been released. Shot almost entirely in a single take on an open set in Paris, the production features a total of 100 local extras, dancers, and a brass band. The weather also played along, and the members’ smiles under the blazing sun radiate happiness, enveloping everyone who watches in an uplifting atmosphere. The scenes of the members getting into a car and speeding off, as well as the spectacular final dance sequence with a large group of extras, are especially impressive. At the end of the music video, a mysterious hotel called “ALL SUITE” also makes an appearance, leaving fans eager to see what comes next.
