On August 17, it was announced that KEY TO LIT, a Junior group consisting of Taisho Iwasaki, Mizuki Inoue, Reia Nakamura, Soya Igari, and Taiko Sasaki, would make their CD debut through Universal Music this winter. Fast forward to October 10, and the act will officially release their debut single on Wednesday, December 9.
A new artist photo was also unveiled alongside the announcement.
With “bonds” as its central theme, “KEY TERUYA2” (pronounced “Kiteruyatsu”), portrays the strong connections between artists who move forward together. The song expresses the determination to take a new step forward and evokes anticipation for the story that is about to begin, as well as for the future that KEY TO LIT will forge for themselves.
The release will be available in three editions: First Press Limited Edition A, First Press Limited Edition B, and Regular Edition. The First Press Limited Editions A and B will each include a Blu-ray/DVD featuring bonus video content. The Blu-ray/DVD included with First Press Limited Edition A will also feature the music video for “KEY TERUYA2,” along with behind-the-scenes footage from the jacket photo shoot and music video filming.
The First Press Limited Edition B will include a documentary music video “KEY 2 LIGHT,” a coupling track that is included in all editions, behind-the-scenes footage from the debut announcement event held at Zojoji Temple in Tokyo, and “KEY TO BOND ใ็ตใธใฎ้ตใ,” a variety program in which the members put their bond with one another to the test.
Additionally, each edition will include a flyer containing a unique 2D code that can be used to enter a lottery for the debut single release commemorative event. Further details, including the jacket artwork, full tracklist, and event information, will be announced at a later date.
A special website for the debut song has also been launched.
