The globally active superstar septet group Travis Japan invites us to play with them in their new release “LEVEL UP!” The modern funk track is packed with synths, 8-bit sweeteners, and catchy lyrics that play on the world of retro gaming.
On YouTube, we get to see the short version of the music video but the full version will be included as a bonus feature on the album’s “Premium T” and Family Club editions, and we see them take on parodies of classic titles like Street Fighter, Dance Dance Revolution, and VR Racing.
“LEVEL UP” is another excellent hit showcasing their sharp, synchronized, and detailed choreography – a trademark of Travis Japan’s success and finest weapon. The music video is yet again simple, like the previous releases “CANDY KISS” and “Moving Pieces,” focusing on the boys and the dancing along with the visual effects and graphic additions.
Get yourself ready, exit the start screen, and begin your save file with “LEVEL UP“! The boys are the final boss and can’t wait to face you!

In March 2022, they packed their bags and moved to Los Angeles indefinitely to train and gain experience. Since then, the group has performed internationally on various stages, opened social media accounts, and also competed in World of Dance 2022. After signing with Capitol Records in 2022, they debuted globally with “JUST DANCE!” in October and later released their EP “Moving Pieces” in June 2023.
Their debut tour “Travis Japan Debut Concert 2023 THE SHOW ~Tadaima, Okaeri~” at the beginning of 2023 was a long-awaited one among old fans and new fans alike, especially after a long time away from Japan.
The digital version of the song is now available on streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) since December 1st.
Their long-awaited first album “Road to A” will be available December 20th, and will be featuring “LEVEL UP” along with plenty of other tracks, videos, and behind-the-scenes bonus content!
While you wait for “Road to A” make sure to also check out the 99-second version of “99 PERCENT” – the theme song for the drama “The Date of Marriage“, starring member Genta Matsuda. The full version will be included in the album.
