Hello!! I am Shiro and I like Nishihata Daigo a very normal amount!! I have been a proud Bangladeshi NaniFam since 2019!! I graduated with an English Linguistics degree not so long ago. Currently besides being a full-time fangirl I also draw, write, and translate. I speak 3 languages: Bangla, English, and Japanese (still have a lot to learn).
It hasn’t been long since I have been introduced to Johnny’s. Unlike most people I did not randomly stumble upon a silly little video which became my hyperfixation until further notice. I was introduced to Johnny’s through Hey! Say! JUMP back in late 2018 by my sister. Before that I was not interested in real life idols at all. 2D idols were everything to me! Particularly UtaPri and The Idolm@ster SideM. Something that I still hold dearly to myself. If not for UtaPri I wouldn’t have known idols, and thanks to Johnny’s I saw an entirely different side to idols that I never even thought had existed. Idols aside, I also like v-tubers, and enjoy shoujo, and dark-fantasy manga!
The first time I saw Naniwa Danshi, my initial thought was that they are amazingly charming! Perfectly fits the description of what anyone would think when asked what an idol is! Learning that they are not as popular, and does not have an expanded media presence, I made it my decision, with the joint effort of my friend, to promote Naniwa Danshi internationally as much as I could! They deserved better and I wanted to help them reach bigger milestones and become more popular!
Fast forward to the present day, Naniwa Danshi is a well known name in Japan and is slowly, yet steadily growing their name worldwide as well! I don’t know how much I was able to contribute in their growth but, I want to keep on promoting them to the world! If I can make even one person interested in Naniwa Danshi, that is one more step towards Naniwa Danshi’s world domination!!
Being a part of Dumpling Box is simply just one of my many ways to promote Naniwa Danshi to the world!! I translate miscellaneous things over on my twitter, and make subbed videos on my YouTube channel. This is just yet another way of showing my unconditional love and support towards Naniwa Danshi.
From Osaka to all of Japan, from all of Japan to the World! Naniwa Danshi will fly high!!
Fun fact: My first encounter with Johnny’s was through an opening of the anime Fairy Tail. V6 (now disbanded) had performed their 18th opening Break Out. I remember liking it so much that 14 year old me searched for the full song wide and beyond but couldn’t find it.
