7 MEN Samurai’s (7 MEN 侍) Katsuki Motodaka surprised us all on his very own birthday by sharing his self-produced MV of his solo song “Electric Flow” on ISLAND TV.
The song is composed and written by Katsuki himself as well and was performed at their summer show “Make 侍 Noise” while wearing gloves with illuminated lights.
This is reflected in the MV as well, with the visuals not only referencing the title but also bringing the whole vibe together. With the mix of English and Japanese lyrics, Katsuki makes sure the viewer is hooked from the start with an alluring “Electric flow, kidding me” line before the electronic beats ignite.
With the help of generative AI, Katsuki made sure “Electric Flow” could be enjoyed by everyone in the world. As the song has only been performed in shows in Japan, this surprise upload is definitely a great gift to every fan worldwide (despite it being his birthday!).

Katsuki Motodaka is a member of 7 MEN Samurai (7 MEN 侍) along with Reia Nakamura, Rinne Sugeta, Taiki Konno, Rei Yabana, and Taiko Sasaki. The group is currently uploading weekly on YouTube on Fridays!

Katsuki is their academically smartest member, as he was a ranked top student in maths nationwide during his junior high years and is a graduate of the prestigious Waseda University. He even went against the other five members in a quiz battle! A very charming point about Katsuki is his love for fish. He’s self-taught in the art of cleaning and preparing fish, and he even caught the eyes of the Japanese Fisheries Ministry.
Aside from the MV, Katsuki has been active on their official TikTok, serving us with fish but also a good mix of dancing and cuteness!
