On June 7, 2025, LaLa Arena Tokyo Bay shimmered with more than stage lights—it pulsed with love, relief, and the sound of seven hearts finally beating as one again. For those who’ve followed Travis Japan’s VIIsual tour this year, the livestreamed performance was more than just another show—it was the long-awaited return of Noel Kawashima, the group’s beloved mom Brain Tiger, after a six-month hiatus.

Noel first announced his hiatus on December 2, 2024, citing a desire to prioritize his physical and mental well-being after careful consultation with the group, his agency, family, and medical professionals.
During his time away, fans continued to bring uchiwas and signs bearing his name to concert venues, hoping he was doing well. His presence lingered in every performance, especially during emotional numbers like “Underdogs” and his duet with Shizu, “Lonely Stars,” both written or co-written by him. His empty tiger cart still made its rounds across arenas, and his name still lit up in neon. It was always clear—Travis Japan was performing as six, but always meant to be seven.
On May 17, 2025, that hope turned into reality. The agency announced that Noel would be returning to work, starting with the June 7 concert at LaLa Arena. In a heartfelt video message to their fan club, all seven members appeared together on camera for the first time in months. Noel, smiling warmly, expressed his gratitude and reassured fans: “I want to enjoy everything. Thank you so much.”
His return was framed not as a comeback but as a continuation—an evolution made stronger by rest and reflection. “Rather than calling it a return,” one member shared, “Noel had been on a break to rest. But he gained a lot from that time off—and now, the seven of us are back to move forward together.”
The June 7 livestream was crafted not just as a performance, but as a reunion and celebration. The #TJ_VIIsual生配信 hashtag became a global digital scrapbook of emotions, with fans across borders expressing pride, gratitude, and overwhelming joy. Seeing Noel back with Travis Japan truly felt like a dream. The energy, the smiles, the seven tigers together—it’s everything the fans have waited for. The moment all seven of Travis Japan were together, it felt like the whole world became one, and seeing Noel’s smile was everything.
Tickets were made available for just 700¥ to FC members, ensuring accessibility for all who had supported them through Noel’s absence. For many overseas fans who couldn’t attend due to sold-out arenas or travel limitations, it was a gift too. The group emphasized: “It’s not just a regular livestream—we’re planning to stream the actual concert with all seven of us performing together.”
Throughout the VIIsual tour, fans were swept into a breathtaking, high-concept experience that redefined what it means to bring you into another world. With its dynamic LED “VIIsual Road,” and six-member execution of seven-member dreams, the stage became a moving canvas of color and emotion. But even amid all the brilliance, there was always a missing piece.
That piece lit up again during the livestream.

As the concert began, and each member’s name flashed on stage, the moment Noel’s name in white lit up, the collective heartbeat of TraJa-TANs around the world skipped a beat. A sea of white penlights erupted in the arena, shaking in unison like a tidal wave of joy and relief. The outpouring of emotion from both in-person and online audiences was instant and overwhelming. Seeing the white penlights shake more intensely than ever brought one to tears at how beautiful it was. It wasn’t just a moment—it was a signal. A beacon. A shared, unspoken promise: he was back, and they were whole.
This reunion was not only for Noel, but a triumph for all seven—and all who had stood by them. During earlier stops on the VIIsual tour, fans were moved by subtle tributes: his tiger cart still making the rounds, his vocals sung tenderly by others, and more.
For this show, they have added a scene to one of the VTR, focusing on Noel. It was a perfect addition to the narrative they were already telling. A message from the other members had arrived as a postcard to Noel that said: “Dear Noel, we’ll see you soon! We’re waiting!”
Then, the footage revealed a smiling Noel looking at a calendar marked for June 7 and 8. The date for these live shows where he’d be performing with them again.
Songs like “Fly Higher,” tied to Noel’s voice-acting debut in the anime “Tasuketsu,” surged with new power in his voice. Fans noticed that the setlist and choreographies had been reworked to include Noel once again, and the group’s dynamic felt fully restored. The encore was particularly moving—unscripted and raw—with many fans confessing to crying through the entire final act. Trust me, I did too. Since the second the livestream started.
What resonated most were the small, unscripted moments: the way Chaka looked over at Noel with a soft smile during MCs, how Shizu leaned into him in celebration, and their final rally cry—“We are Travis Japan!”—now said with all seven voices.
During the messages before the encore, Chaka addressed the crowd directly: “Everyone, did the visual we created as Travis Japan reach you? Hearing your voices—we, as seven—were able to create this visual. Thank you so much.” Then, turning to Noel, he asked him to speak.
Noel stepped forward, voice steady and eyes bright. “I’m truly happy to be able to come back. Thank you so much, everyone.
Thanks to the hard work of the six members, the support from our staff, everyone involved, and above all, the fans of Travis Japan all over the world, we are able to perform on stage like this. We are able to stand here again as seven. From the bottom of my heart, I’m truly happy.
Today, this day where we perform together as seven once again—I want to etch into my heart that this is how things should be. From now on, I want to continue our activities as seven. So please keep supporting us.
And please don’t forget the memories we made today. Everyone’s smiles and happy voices help make Travis Japan grow. We hope for your continued support, now and always. Thank you very much.”
Chaka echoed the sentiment: “There are still so many things we want to do as these seven members. We want to break through every wall together with all of you, and move forward while reaffirming the love we share. Please keep cheering us on.”

But no report of mine would be complete without celebrating the one who lit up the stage in every way: Genta Matsuda.
From the moment the livestream began, Genta’s presence was impossible to ignore—an explosion of light and energy that reached through the screen. His smile on the screen felt like he descended from heaven. That smile lingered like a final gift, reminding everyone watching why he holds such a special place in so many hearts.
His performance in “Rush,” the song he co-produced for the VIIsual album, was a knockout. From the moment his shirt fluttered open mid-dance to the gleam in his eyes, Genta embodied passion and charisma. Dancing with his shirt open, his passion and coolness exploded—those sparkling eyes are impossible to forget. And don’t let me get started on his sleeveless look in “Warm It Up.” His voice was unwavering, his expression raw. You felt every beat through him.

But it wasn’t just the intensity. It was the warmth. During “Crazy Crazy,” his playful moment with Machu—swinging him on his back, legs flailing—sent waves of laughter and love across the arena and timelines alike.
Even from across oceans, Genta made sure to charm his fans and everyone else. A wink, a smile, a hint of tongue, or just simply… existing. It’s those small, effortless gestures—so unmistakably Genta—that create a personal connection, as if he’s reaching out just for you.
In a show that marked a full-circle (of life) return, Genta’s radiance felt symbolic—like sunshine breaking through after a long storm. His smile made the whole show glow, and his interactions with his beloved Noel only added to the already emotionally charged event. And glow it did. Whether pouring himself into the ballads, exuding sexy charisma, or grounding the group with joy and steadiness, Genta reminded us why he’s the group’s sun (and Sexy Tiger—Sabina, behave!).
To love Travis Japan is to know each member brings something irreplaceable to the group—but for some of us, Genta is the spark that makes everything shine a little brighter. That makes life more fun. I’m truly grateful that I get to live at the same time as Genta.
As the final notes faded into the warm glow of the arena lights, the moment felt suspended in time. The members stood still for a beat longer than usual, as if trying to preserve the feeling—to hold onto this first night of being whole again. The emotions that had built up throughout the concert now brimmed at the surface, and you could see it in their eyes: gratitude, relief, joy, and an overwhelming sense of belonging.
Then came the final send-off after the encore.
As the members gathered to say their final words, their message became a joyful crescendo of love, unity, and gratitude. They didn’t just say goodbye—they invited fans into something bigger.
“Thank you. And lastly—everyone, thank you for becoming one with us tonight. We’ll never forget that feeling. We’ll carry it as confidence and keep moving forward.“
With playful calls—“Are the seven of us the best or what?!”—and a flood of affection—“Do you love us? Do you really love us? We love you too—so much!”—they let the emotion pour freely, reaching across the arena and beyond.
But the message was also inclusive. To those watching the livestream, and to those who couldn’t be there at all, they asked a favor: “Please pass on these passionate feelings, this warmth in your heart, to others with your own hands. Let them know: ‘Travis Japan made us this happy!’”
It was a call to spread joy—to be part of the team that lifts others up, just as the group has always tried to do. And the joy they bring isn’t confined to one venue or one city. Travis Japan is loved across the globe, with fans from all walks of life cheering them on through time zones, language barriers, and screens. Their energy is contagious, their sincerity disarming, and their performances a lifeline for many.
This concert proved it. The laughter, the tears, the countless messages online all echoed one truth: they bring happiness simply by being themselves. For every fan who shouted “賛成!” from their living room, every overseas Traja-TAN who stayed up at odd hours just to be part of the moment, and every supporter who felt seen through the screen—the joy was real.
That happiness was shared, amplified, and made permanent in memory. And with one final burst of energy, they promised: “Let’s keep on loving each other. Let’s keep having fun.”
They linked hands one last time and asked, “Is it okay if we keep aiming for the top—together with all of you?”
And together, everyone shouted back: 賛成!
Back in December, Chaka had said, “He’s our eldest member and has always guided us with his dedication. We want him to take the time he needs so we can laugh together again.” And now, on June 7, they laughed, they sang, and they performed—not as six hoping to be seven again, but as seven stronger than ever.
Noel’s message when he announced his return to fans was sincere: “I caused a lot of worry over the past six months, but your support truly meant everything. I believe I can return the favor now.”
The VIIsual album and tour, crafted around the theme of each member’s unique color and personality, has always emphasized the significance of their full lineup. Designed to reflect the miracle of seven becoming one, the tour and album—named for the Roman numeral VII—symbolize the strength, individuality, and unity of Travis Japan.
With Noel’s return, that vision truly came to life.
And perhaps no line captured the sentiment better than one from “Lonely Stars:”
“From now, here can be home.
Together from now on.“
That lyric, once sung in longing and absence, now felt like a promise fulfilled. For Travis Japan, for the fans, and for Noel himself—this stage, this moment, this unity—it was home. And moving forward, together, feels not only possible, but certain. Because Travis Japan is not just a group of seven—they are a shared heartbeat, a home—a family—for countless hearts around the world.
The white tiger has returned to his pride. The stage glows brighter. The road ahead is wide open.
Just Dance Together has never resonated more than now.
More Travis Japan!
