Back on track! Our beloved tigers Travis Japan has landed an exciting new project—they’ll be performing the opening theme song, “Fly Higher,” for the second season of the anime “Tasūketsu-Fate of the Majority-,” which airs on Nippon TV, BS Nippon, and RAB Aomori Broadcasting (every Tuesday at 1:59 AM).
The team behind the anime adaptation has unveiled the highly anticipated second full promotional video alongside the opening theme song for its upcoming second cours (quarters of the year) on Tuesday!
“Tasūketsu” is an anime adaptation of the webcomic by Taiga Miyagawa, which has been thrilling fans since it first started in 2013. It’s currently being serialized on the popular manga app GANMA! The story centers on a group of young boys and girls who find themselves unexpectedly caught up in a fierce survival game where the majority disappears, painting a dramatic tale of struggle and endurance.
This marks another major milestone for Travis Japan, as it’s their very first anime theme song! The uplifting track, “Fly Higher,” brims with dreams and hope for the future, and perfectly mirrors the determination of the anime’s young characters as they bravely face obstacles and push forward.
It’s a genre that Travis Japan hasn’t tackled before, their Japanese tracks on the EP “Moving Pieces,” and Noel’s duet “Day Off” with Kaito Miyachika being the closest to date in similarity.
The fresh pop-tune will be a great addition in their ever-growing discography and from the preview, the song is sure to be a fan favorite and popular to sing at karaoke!
And that’s not all there is! Member Noel Kawashima will also be lending his voice to the character Kai Kasai! Fans are in for a treat as the second promotional video, featuring this powerful new track, has just been unveiled.
His character, Kai Kasai, is a third-year high school student who’s constantly experimenting with different ways to improve his life. With his striking orange headband and fierce demeanor, Kai is one of the protagonists’ most formidable rivals. He’s definitely a character to watch as the plot unfolds, and we can’t wait to see what happens next!
Noel’s exhilarating debut as a voice actor is sending waves of excitement among fans, and they are hyped up about this thrilling news! Known for his deep-rooted passion for anime, he’s finally stepping into the spotlight this year, not only as a voice actor but also as an author, with his highly anticipated book launching on his birthday this November.
