In celebration of KAMIGATA BOYZ DREAM IsLAND 2024, Dumpling Box hosting a giveaway with a selection of goods from the goods list!
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, all forms of entertainment came to a halt, as the novel coronavirus spread fear and uncertainty across the globe.
In the midst of this challenging period, a burning question emerged: “What can we do?” And with it, another: “Is there a way to provide entertainment in these trying times?” Despite the obstacles and uncertainty, several groups, including SUPER EIGHT, WEST., Naniwa Danshi, Ae! group, and a total of 70 STARTO Jr. from the Kansai region stepped up to take charge and organize a livestreaming event at Taiyo no Hiroba in Osaka’s Expo ’70 Commemorative Park.
Even without a physical audience present, they were determined to bring joy and light to the public through their performances, just like they have always done. Aptly named “DREAM IsLAND 2020→2025 ~From Our Beloved City~,” the event promised to be a beacon of hope and positivity amidst the darkness. And now, four long years later, over 100 immensely talented individuals will come together at last for an eagerly anticipated in-person event, ready to dazzle and delight their devoted fans once again.
Earlier this May, three of the forementioned groups, SUPER EIGHT, WEST., and Naniwa Danshi, released the song titled “Musekinin Eejanaika LOVE“/”無責任でええじゃないかLOVE,” under the name KAMIGATA BOYZ. This song epitomizes all the STARTO Kansai groups have to offer! It is packed with the infectious energy and spirit we’ve come to love them for, but also shows the essence of what it means to be a part of the STARTO Kansai family.
Earlier this month, right before the livestream of the concert, a burst of sunshine from Kansai has arrived in the form of an endlessly bright, cloudless positive song! KAMIGATA BOYZ second single “Sekai wo Akaruku Terashimashou” sticks with you, making you want to sing along at the top of your lungs.

This song, reminiscent of the iconic “Ashita ga Aru sa,” laughs off the fatigue and worries of daily life with a big hearty “gahaha!” and blows them away, bringing a fresh sense of joy and hope in the Reiwa era.
KAMIGATA BOYZ have leveled up this time, joining forces with fellow Kansai stars—SUPER EIGHT, WEST., Naniwa Danshi, the newly debuted Ae! group enters the pack on the front lines. Together, these Reiwa-era “Positive Soldiers” have created a power-packed, unstoppable anthem that radiates joy all the way from Kansai to every corner of Japan.
This song is set to become the ultimate feel-good track, as these talented groups channel their collective energy to deliver a bright and beautiful message of hope. Keep your eyes on these stars as they shine even brighter!
At this concert, KAMIGATA BOYZ is a family project originating from Kansai, and it will also feature the members of Ae! group, Lil Kansai, Boys be, AmBitious, and STARTO Jr. from Kansai, bringing together the “strongest and invincible” Kansai people all at once.
