Dumpling Box had the pleasure to attend Fuga Onishi & Kotaro Okazaki Summer SpeciaL Concert 2025 at the Kanadevia Hall (formerly known as Tokyo Dome City Hall) on June 26th, 2025.
From the moment the lights dimmed, the energy inside Kanadevia Hall was filled with anticipation. This summer showcase brought together two familiar faces stepping confidently into a new chapter—Fuga Onishi and Kotaro Okazaki. Backed by a lineup of talented Juniors and the ever-charismatic group SpeciaL, the night promised not only vibrant performances but also a glimpse into the next generation shaping the future of STARTO ENTERTAINMENT.
The concert began with the silhouettes of Fuga Onishi and Kotaro Okazaki, marking the start of the show with “Jinsei Yugi“, a song by timelesz. Both appeared suspended on a gondola above the stage, creating an impressive opening visual. By the end of the song, they gently descended to the stage.
Following that, “MU-CHU-DE Koi Shiteru“ by Kis-My-Ft2 introduced several other Juniors dressed in white. Kotaro wore a blue outfit, while Fuga stood out in black.
In “Heso Magari” by SUPER EIGHT, even more Juniors joined the stage, including the youngest performer of the night: Nishimaki Sen, who is only eight years old. Every time he appeared on the screen, the crowd erupted with affectionate shouts of “Cute!.”

Soon after came one of the key performances of the show: SpeciaL, a Junior group formed in 2022 made up of four members (Ren Hayashi, Tatsuru Matsuo, Yuki Wada, and Kodai Nakamura), performed their original song “Sensation.” Dressed in sparkling blue costumes, they showcased perfect coordination, acrobatic moves, and stunning smoke effects that energized the venue.
Next, Kotaro performed “Share Love,” a solo originally by Yuta Tamamori from Kis-My-Ft2. A mannequin wearing a woman’s dress stood at center stage as Kotaro danced gracefully around it in an elegant suit. The venue was bathed in yellow light, and at the end of the number, he kissed the mannequin’s hand, causing the dress to light up. Fuga then joined Kotaro for a duet of “make me bright” by timelesz.
During “Vanilla“ by A.B.C-Z, SpeciaL returned to the stage along with two additional juniors, joining Fuga and Kotaro in a chair choreography performance.
Later, Fuga opened “Hadakanbo” by Tomohisa Yamashita with a solo dance, while SpeciaL served as his backup dancers, adding emotional depth to the number. In another highlight, the juniors donned green tuxedos to perform “Beating Hearts” by King & Prince.
Afterward, some of the lesser-known Juniors took the spotlight with “Sutaato,” a song by the Juniors, giving them a chance to shine and showcase their growing talent.
From there, the summer-themed segment began, featuring vibrant hits such as “Tsumi to Natsu” by SUPER EIGHT, “Soda Pop Love” by Naniwa Danshi, and “Maji SUNSHINE” by Hey! Say! JUMP.
One of the most entertaining moments came with “Bye-Bye Dubai ~See you again~“, by timelesz, where several juniors appeared in Dubai-inspired outfits. Kotaro entered in costume, prompting Fuga to jokingly tell him to take it off. Kotaro playfully replied, “My name is Tako”, while introducing the group SpeciaL as “SP”.
The segment wrapped up with “PARTY PEOPLE“ by SixTONES, performed by all the Juniors. The high-energy choreography and vibrant staging made it feel as if summer had truly arrived.

The MC section followed, led by Kotaro and Fuga, who took the opportunity to promote their work. SpeciaL also joined in, sharing fun banter and updates.
The next segment of the show was the SpeciaL segment. It began with all four members singing, “Koi wo Shiranai Kimi e “, a beautiful ballad by NEWS. Their harmonies were shining through the performance. A tap dance solo by Kodai Nakamura transitioned into “My Dreamy Hollywood“ by Travis Japan, joined by other Juniors as backup dancers.
In “Unmei Girl” by Kis-My-Ft2, Ren Hayashi took the stage on roller skates, effortlessly demonstrating his talent and control.
In “Moon Lover” by King & Prince, Yuki Wada performed solo without backup dancers, impressing the audience with a magic trick where he made a cane float mid-air.
After that, Tatsuru Matsuo sang “SOLITARY“ by Koichi Domoto, accompanied by other Juniors. In “Swan Song” by DOMOTO, all four members of SpeciaL showcased their individual talents: Ren Hayashi performing on roller skates, among others.
They closed the SpeciaL segment with a powerful performance of “Grandeur” by Snow Man, featuring smoke effects and sharp choreography.
Then came the solo segment. Kotaro sang the beautiful piano-accompanied ballad “Niji,” originally by Kazunari Ninomiya. The venue was again lit in yellow, and the line about the rainbow (nijiiro) matched the atmosphere perfectly.

Fuga followed with King & Prince‘s member Ren Nagase‘s solo “Kimi Iro,” beginning with the line “Let’s go on a date together.” The stage was set like a date scene—first a bed with a camera to simulate a boyfriend’s point of view, then a café-style table, and finally a flower shop where he chose flowers for his “girlfriend.”
Then, three Juniors came out to introduce the next corner.
The group performed “Kimi Attraction,” a Hey! Say! JUMP song, all dressed in pink. Kotaro performed with Tatsuru and Kodai, members of SpeciaL and additional Juniors, while Fuga, along with Ren and Yuki (the other two SpeciaL members and additional Juniors), emphasized the participation of the younger members. They wrapped up the segment with “WANT!!“ by Ae! group, performed by Fuga, Kotaro, and SpeciaL.
The dance segment followed, starting with DANCE INTER, where all the Juniors showcased their impressive skills.
Fuga and Kotaro then performed “FIRE!!!,” a duo originally by Hiromitsu Kitayama and Taisuke Fujigaya of Kis-My-Ft2. In one moment, they crossed arms and sang into each other’s microphones—a striking visual.

In “PUSH” by WEST., the stage lit up with fireworks and smoke, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
Later, during “Gamushara Kousinkyoku” by SUPER EIGHT and “Kimi Kara no YELL” by Kansai Juniors, the Juniors moved around the audience, singing and interacting with fans, providing generous fan service.
After that, Fuga and Kotaro returned for a speech. They reflected on their journey, noting they were formerly members of Lil Kansai, which disbanded in April of this year, so each member could pursue individual paths.
When Kotaro began speaking, he noticed the venue glowing in yellow—his member color—and became emotional. “It’s definitely yellow,” he said, bringing many fans to tears, especially after all the emotions surrounding the group’s breakup. Fuga also shared kind words about SpeciaL, praising their growth and dedication.
All performers then came together for “Arigatou” by SMAP. Once again using the gondola, Fuga and Kotaro floated gracefully above the stage while colorful confetti filled the air. The lyrics of “Arigatou” carried a message of heartfelt thanks to the fans who have stood by them over the years. Kotaro appeared teary-eyed during the gondola ride—a touching moment to end the main set. Afterward, the group bid farewell, and the crowd responded by chanting “Junior!”

For the encore, the Juniors returned in the same costumes to perform one last Kansai Juniors song, called “Bang Bang!!.” Tatsuru, who is 24 years old, continued to play with Nishimaki Sen, who is 8 years old, proving that a 16-year age gap was no obstacle when it came to sharing the joy of performing together on stage.
The Fuga Onishi & Kotaro Okazaki Summer SpeciaL Concert 2025 came to a close with an atmosphere filled with gratitude and hope. Through dynamic performances, emotional reflections, and heartfelt teamwork, Fuga and Kotaro proved that their journey continues beyond Lil Kansai, marking a new beginning in their individual paths. Not by forgetting their past, but by gratitude for it, as it took them to where they stand today.
Supported by SpeciaL and the younger Juniors, the concert showcased the unity and evolving talent that define STARTO ENTERTAINMENT’s new generation. As confetti filled the air and the audience joined Fuga and Kotaro on center stage, leading the crowd in a final call-and-response: “We are… FugaKota!,” the night ended on a heartfelt and unforgettable note—celebrating not only the end of a chapter, but the start of many more to come.
