In her detailed and heartfelt report for Dumpling Box, Amy takes us on an emotional journey through We’re timelesz LIVE TOUR 2025 episode 1 ~FAM~, capturing the excitement, surprises, and heartfelt moments of this new chapter for timelesz. Amy’s report beautifully highlights why this tour marks such a pivotal moment for timelesz and their fans.

timelesz… my babies. I have so many thoughts and feelings about this group that it’s not even funny 😅. But despite the absolute roller coaster we’ve been on with them, I remain steadfast in my support and my hope to see them succeed. So yes, of course, despite some reservations, I was very much looking forward to seeing how the new formation—with the five new members—would come across on stage. I’ve gotten a better feel for their personalities through variety shows and glimpses of their performance style on music programs, but this concert was the first time I would see their full showmanship and skills during a live tour as eight.

The tour, We’re timelesz LIVE TOUR 2025 episode 1 ~FAM~, named after their first album as the renewed group was a huge deal for them. It was both a chance to prove their mettle and their first opportunity to meet fans on such a large scale. I was lucky to attend the Yokohama Arena show, which by then was already past the halfway point of the tour, and I had carefully avoided all reports online so I could walk into the experience with fresh eyes 🙈.
Heading into Yokohama Arena, my emotions were all over the place: nervousness, pride, excitement, sadness, anticipation. Would I be okay with the new versions of the pre–eight-member timelesz songs I loved? Or would I end up a bumbling emotional mess? Clearly, I’m still strapped into the timelesz roller coaster but I’m here for the ride! Adding to my emotions was the fact that I’d been at the same venue just over a year ago when timelesz was only Fuma, Shori, and So-chan. It was slightly jarring to reflect on just how much had changed since July 2024.
But once the show began, I was swept away by the magic the boys (yes, all eight of them) brought to the stage. The opening notes of “Rock This Party“ and the sight of them rising from below the stage to greet us had me instantly hooked. From there, the night was a blur of me clutching my pearls during “Freak Your Body,” positively kya-ing during “SWEET,” and being in awe of the sheer theatricality of “Kakumei no Dancin’ Night.“
The first block had the arena absolutely buzzing. “Rock This Party“ opened with explosive energy, followed by “Do Me Do Me” and “Freak Your Body“, which transformed the venue into a full-on club complete with lasers. So-chan’s growls in both songs were too much for my poor heart!!! He’s grown up so fast, and I’m genuinely impressed with how far he’s come as a performer 💚.
The cheers from fans during this section were deafening. And when Tera stepped in to do Kenty’s iconic “Get down” line? I swear, I was on my deathbed. I will most definitely be rewatching that performance from the concert stream archive 👀
After a heartfelt VTR of member interviews reflecting on their thoughts and feelings, the second block opened with the boys coming out in pink outfits and performing “Anthem -episode 1-,” which was made even more impactful by bursts of fire. It was then followed by “New Phase,” with sharp new choreography that I loved. Then came the whiplash moment: going from “Jinsei Yuugi“ straight into” SWEET“. The transition was jarring but so worth it! It was beyond adorable 😍.
The pink costumes made total sense here, though seeing them perform harder-hitting songs in those outfits earlier was also a fun moment. “SWEET“ is my guilty pleasure: bubbly, cute, and with that fun choreo break halfway through the song from playful to cool. Forever thankful for So-chan picking this song to produce during the auditions 🙏
But one of the most exciting surprises for me was when they brought out the mic stands and launched into “Suki Sugite.” I had never seen it live because it had been 12 years since they last performed it in concert, according to Fuma, and it was just as fun as I’d hoped. I had seen the legendary performance of it from Shonen Club, and it has become a cult fave amongst Sexy Zone fans, so being able to see a more current version of it made me extremely happy 💗
The MC segment itself was hilarious but also jam-packed with announcements:
- timelesz will be releasing a double A-side single “Steal The Show“ / “Recipe“ on November 12, with “Steal The Show” serving as the support song for Nippon TV’s basketball coverage and “Recipe” tied to a future project.
- The Blu-ray and DVD timelesz project –Audition– Special Edition Kiseki will be released on December 17, featuring previously unreleased audition footage and member commentary.
- Netflix will be streaming timelesz project –REAL–, a new documentary that covers the group’s journey post-audition. The release date is scheduled for 2026.
- And last but not least, they announced that the final show of the tour on August 24 in Shizuoka would be livestreamed on FAMILY CLUB Online! There is also an archive available until August 31, 23:59 JST. I recently watched that stream with friends, and I was so grateful they gave secondz who couldn’t get tickets a chance to enjoy it 🥹.
After the exciting announcements, the five new members went backstage to prepare for the next block, leaving just the original 3 members on stage. After a funny slip-up where Fuma accidentally called the song that the 5 new members would be performing as “Tegami” instead of “Kimi e“ (the stunned silence in the arena was unforgettable), we got back to regularly scheduled programming 😂
“Kimi e“ is a beautiful song with lyrics expressing gratitude towards their fans, family, friends, and one another, and I was a mess. Then the original three performed “because“, with lights projecting 10 coloured circles on the stage, including Kenty’s and Marius’ colors. That hit me hard. It was a moving reminder of how much love and history binds this group, despite all the challenges.
Luckily, the mood lightened in the next block, which became my favorite part of the show. A playful VTR showed the members joking about how to handle the intermission that would follow when Hara-chan or Tera were absent due to scheduling conflicts, and the silliness had me barely keeping it together.
The intermission performances themselves were a showcase of individual talents: Shori played guitar while Tera danced; Shuto painted a FAM logo while Masaki grilled meat (yes, really) before dancing with So-chan; Fuma and Hara-chan delivered a slick original rap performance (I am extremely happy we have another rapper in the group now!), and Shino impressed everyone by chugging a bottle of water in seconds. It was quirky, funny, and very them.
After the intermission, they all returned in sleek black suits sparkling with silver accents and “TL” emblazoned across them, I was absolutely enamoured. It was by far my favorite look of the night and plus, Fuma had his hair in a tiny ponytail!
They looked incredible as they performed Flavor, a sultry number with beautiful staging, followed by an electrifying rendition of Sexy Zone-era Honne to Tatemae, which had new choreography and chair work that turned up the intensity. Hara-chan especially stole my attention during this performance!
Then came my absolute highlight of the block: “Kakumei no Dancin’ Night.” Ever since I saw it during the Netflix audition program, it’s lived rent-free in my head, and seeing it live was everything I’d hoped for and more. The stage transformed into a theatre, sparklers lit up the air, and the boys delivered a sleek, powerful performance. Bravo! 🤩
Just as the members were preparing for their final greetings, the screen suddenly displayed a countdown by the seconds, highlighting various milestones the group had experienced. The members themselves looked confused, which made the suspense even stronger.
The reveal?
timelesz will be performing at Kyocera Dome (December 26–27, 2025) and Tokyo Dome (January 7–8, 2026). The arena erupted. Hara-chan, So-chan, and Masaki were moved to tears, and honestly, so was I. It was overwhelming to witness such a huge milestone for them only six months after the auditions.
I thought back to Fuma’s words during the show—that he wanted the group to sell and make it big—and felt so proud that this was becoming reality. Even more, it meant Sexy Zone’s tradition of dome tours was continuing 🥹.
And the surprises didn’t stop there. During the Shizuoka livestream, the staff surprised the group again by announcing additional Tokyo Dome dates: February 4–5, 2026!
The concert closed with “Steal The Show,” which had slick choreography and a driving beat that made me want to dance, and finally “RUN.”
Watching the eight of them sprint down the runway together, performing such a symbolic song, felt like the perfect way to end the first “episode” of their story.
Leaving the venue, I felt relieved and happy. The magic of Sexy Zone and three-member timelesz wasn’t erased—it’s still there—but now the eight-member timelesz has begun building something new on top of that legacy. There’s so much ahead for them, and it feels like they’re only just getting started. I’ll be cheering them on with all my heart, and yes, crossing my fingers to hit for tickets to Dome!!
