Released on March 3, 2023, “ABARERO” is SixTONES’s ninth single, eagerly awaited by their fans. The music video showcases a gritty, high-energy aesthetic, featuring dynamic choreography and intense visual effects. The “ABARERO” music video was filmed at various locations in Tokyo. Fans have identified several of these spots, turning them into pilgrimage sites for enthusiasts wishing to experience the settings firsthand.
Aside from the music video, a dance practice video, and a performance video from their dome tour can be found on their official YouTube account.

We asked SixTONES fans about their thoughts on the music video and song:
ABARERO was a ‘back to the roots’ song for me and it is still my favorite single and one of my favorite SixTONES songs of all times. It reminded me a lot of their wild Junior days and the first few original songs they got (Amazing, be crazy, in the storm) So seeing the music video was making me root for the single even more, as they put the raw feeling of the song into motion perfectly 💎 StormyNoSekai
SixTONES isn’t just “a boy group”—their sound, performance, and presence completely break the mold. The ABARERO MV is insane—in the best way. The visuals are sharp, the energy is raw, and the camera work hits every beat of their choreography so perfectly.
It’s bold, chaotic, and unapologetically SixTONES. You can feel the intensity from every member, like they’re daring you to look away (you won’t).
From the first shot, you’re thrown into this gritty, high-energy world that somehow feels both polished and unhinged at the same time.
It’s got that signature SixTONES edge: hip-hop influence, chaotic structure, and vocals that switch from smooth to snarling in a second. The chorus feels like it explodes, and the rap verses are just filthy in the best way.
This isn’t a typical idol release—it’s a warning shot. SixTONES isn’t just doing music. They’re building their own sonic universe. And ABARERO is them saying, loud and clear: “We’re here, and we’re not playing safe.”

Personally not something I’m used to hearing from them – but this song is easily one of their most powerful ones. It was like a small shock hearing it at first, and their voices are really booming in this song in terms of power and roughness. SixTONES shows they can do any style and genre with this one. The song makes you feel a bit powerful, stronger – the way its delivered is just amazing. 💎xcryangelx
It’s one of those songs that just demented for me what an incredible group SixTONES is. It’s fun, it’s sexy, and it’s just a damn good song. Also, it’s the video where I fell in love with Shintaro💎tunemotion
