SixTONES’ Hokuto Matsumura Attends CHANEL Show at Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027

SixTONES member Hokuto Matsumura attended CHANEL’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection show during Paris Fashion Week, joining a star-studded front row at the French luxury fashion house’s latest runway presentation.

Held at the Grand Palais in Paris on October 5, the show presented the latest collection by CHANEL Creative Director Matthieu Blazy, bringing together international celebrities and prominent figures from the fashion world.

Hokuto attracted attention with his sophisticated ensemble, wearing a sand-beige shirt featuring gold buttons, paired with a burgundy knit draped over his shoulders and black trousers. Completing the look with a small leather bag and sunglasses tucked into his shirt, the SixTONES member embraced a refined autumnal palette that complemented the collection’s elegant aesthetic.

Speaking about his outfit in a video shared by Figaro Japon, Hokuto highlighted the historical references behind the colors he had chosen. He explained that the sand-beige and burgundy tones reminded him of the furniture in Gabrielle Chanel’s apartment, adding that his look evoked a sense of history and tradition.

CHANEL’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, designed by Blazy, explored the legacy of the house’s founder, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, through contemporary interpretations of its signature codes. The presentation featured reimagined tweed ensembles, fluid silhouettes and distinctive accessories, bringing a fresh perspective to the maison’s heritage.

This was not Hokuto‘s first appearance at a CHANEL event. In November 2025, he attended the preview of DREAM CHASER, a special pop-up event in Tokyo dedicated to the maison’s fine jewellery and watches. For the occasion, he wore a black Chanel jacket featuring distinctive lion-motif buttons, alongside a selection of jewellery and a white watch.

During the event, Hokuto discussed the appeal of the pieces he tried on, particularly a delicate necklace from the Coco Crush collection. He appreciated how jewellery could complement an outfit without overpowering it, while also becoming its focal point. He was drawn to the collection’s quilted motif, which reminded him of Chanel’s iconic handbags and inspired him to imagine how different pieces could be styled together to create a sense of continuity.

The event also revealed a more personal side of the SixTONES star. When asked about jewellery he would like to give as a gift, Hokuto spoke about his mother, explaining that she has always loved fashion and beautiful things. He reflected on how difficult it can be to choose jewellery for someone else without knowing exactly what suits them, but said the experience had given him several ideas for a possible gift.

Hokuto also shared his thoughts on what motivates him to pursue his dreams, describing admiration for people, works and situations as a source of inspiration that continues to drive him forward, alongside the support of his family, staff and fans.

Beyond his appearance at CHANEL’s Spring/Summer 2027 show, Hokuto also took the opportunity to enjoy his time in Paris. From sightseeing around the French capital to indulging in a freshly baked croissant, he shared glimpses of his trip on the group’s official Instagram, giving fans a look at the more relaxed side of his Paris experience.
