SixTONES announced their 16th single “Stargaze”, which will be released on September 10th! The title track “Stargaze” is a supporting song for NTV’s “High School Quiz 2025” and was written by Yojiro Noda of RADWIMPS.
The poetic word choice and dramatic sound of Noda Yojiro‘s unique style are blended with the powerful yet emotional voices of the six members of SixTONES in this coming-of-age yell song that pushes the backs of listeners while depicting inner passion and the sparkle of living in the “now”.
“Stargaze” has been released as a digital single, and you can stream and download the song here.
It will be released in three formats: [First Press Limited Edition A], [First Press Limited Edition B], and [Regular Edition]!
The first edition includes music videos of the members’ solo songs from the previous single “BOYZ”.
The DVD of First Press Limited Edition A includes the making of the music video for “Stargaze” as well as Hokuto Matsumura‘s “Doukei no Arch” Yugo Kochi‘s “Nitamono Doushi” and Jesse’s “Niji, Boku”.
The DVD of First Press Limited Edition B includes a documentary on the making of the solo songs and the filming of the music videos. In addition to the documentary, the MVs of Taiga Kyomoto‘s “Night rider”, Shintaro Morimoto‘s “Life is…”, and Juri Tanaka‘s “No Cap” are also included.
The CD of the first press limited edition also contains sound recordings of a part of their national dome tour “YOUNG OLD” Tokyo Dome concert held in January this year. Dumpling Box had the opportunity to attend the tour and wrote a report which you can read here.
The [first press Limited Edition A] CD includes three songs from “BORDERLESS” – “Cat Call” – “MIDAS” and the [first press Limited Edition B] CD includes three songs from “SPICY” – “THE BALLERS” – “GONG”, each as live sound sources.
In addition to the title track “Stargaze”, the [Regular Edition] contains two new songs, “Clarity” and “Tear Train”. It also includes a rearranged version of the previous single “BOYZ”.
