Episode 1 of Travis Japan’s podcast “Toramimi” on mimi-ni is now available on international streaming—so international fans can enjoy it too!
Travis Japan launched their very first podcast on STARTO ENTERTAINMENT’s new audio platform mimi-ni—coinciding with the release of their album ‘s travelers.
The members opened with excitement, reflecting on their long-standing wish to host a regular radio-style program and expressing gratitude to fans for helping them trend worldwide during past broadcasts. Since mimi-ni allows full-length music playback, they celebrated by choosing their debut song “JUST DANCE!” as the first track featured on the show (music playback only available on mimi-ni). They also reintroduced themselves for new listeners and shared candid thoughts about how spontaneous and unpredictable this new format felt.
Most of the episode unfolded as a lively title-naming meeting. The group bounced between dozens of ideas—from playful word merges like Torajio and Torajamon Hills to cute, platform-inspired options like Toramimi. After plenty of laughter, chaos, and misunderstandings along the way, they ultimately decided on 「トラビスジャパンの とらみみ」, a name that tied together “Travis Japan,” “mimi-ni,” and their own personality as a group.
They closed the episode by playing “Disco Baby” from ‘s travelers and invited listeners to send in messages and enjoy new episodes every Wednesday at 18:00 JST.
Let’s all enjoy it together, shall we? 賛成!
